This movie also had a great “voice” cast. Catherine O’Hara, Danny Elfman and Paul (Pee Wee Herman) Reubens, to name a few. Check out their live performance of one of the songs. https://youtu.be/9yHQBcUma8I

I took my kids to Disneyland for Halloween when it was all decorated as Nightmare before Christmas. They wanted to go just for that. I'm glad you liked it!

A very enjoyable reaction I always thought this one was cool...looking forward to "Miracle" and you should also get lotsa laughs out of GOM as well!

Michael Tocci

As others mentioned, Batman and Ed Wood were Tim Burton movies (and Batman Returns COULD work for Jingle Beans). Weirdly, Burton was heavily involved with Nightmare Before Christmas but did not technically direct it

James Falato

So Ashleigh... Does this mean You're GivingThanks in combining Halloween and Christmas?!? Or was my thought just a Turkey?!?

Jason Nunez

This wasn’t directed by Tim Burton but Batman 89 was directed by Tim Burton.

Jason Skeans

he tweaked his nose my grandma said that's how Santa uses his magic

Dissonant Bard

So I have to ask,for the next musical installment can we get Cannibal: The Musical? It is a musical, comedy, and based on a true story so it checks several boxes.

Danika Silva

Again, I really only watch movies that I personally prefer 😑

Eric Janssen

Yes, it’s the National Movie of goths everywhere, united in their belief that Tim Burton directed it. (He didn’t.) Or, as Honest Trailers summed it up, a movie for outcasts and rule-breakers to show the world their offbeat individuality, that they all love the SAME MOVIE! (And I’m of that generation that still thinks of “Wake Me Up Inside” as the song from the Daredevil movie. They just jammed that thing into every freakin’ ad.)

Eric Janssen

It’s usually followed by a reactor watching Henry Selick’s “Coraline”, and finding out who REALLY directed Nightmare Before Christmas.

Kenton Kruger

I find it interesting how very few people recognize the voice as Catherine O'Hara, but as soon as you know it seems beyond obvious.

Jason Nunez

I’m not denying that Tim Burton wasn’t part of the project. His finger prints all over this one more than some the other films that has his name attached to it.

Christina BD

Every Halloween we project This is Halloween on our curved living room ceiling (100 yr old house) and blast it through our sound system for the trick-or-treaters to see and hear as they walk up. For more heartwarming Santa stories watch Sant Claus: The Movie. It’s beautiful and has that special 80s touch of goofy good guy/bad guy in the plot.

Eric Janssen

Considering he didn’t direct “Corpse Bride” or “9” either.

Other Tim Burton movies that you could watch would be Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street, Corpse Bride, Frankenweenie, Sleepy Hollow, Edward Scissorhands, Big Fish, and Miss Peregrine's school for peculiar children. This is just a short list of the ones I like.
