Adam Sander is famous for picking film locations that are basically a big vacation for him and his friends while they make the movie.

Okay your first review for a film I dont personally like and an actor I cant stand. I'm talking finger nails down a blackboard kinda thing lol. I watched your review but only because it's you lol.

I saw this movie for the first time in Iraq, off a bootleg copy we got. Me and 6 dudes in uniform, only watching it because we were bored, trying not to be the first one in the tent to cry. We all lost

Why is Adam Sandler famous? It's always baffled me who keeps financing his films.

I mean it made sense when he was young. Snl and a few goofy comedies. But that schtick wasn't as widely accepted as he got older. I must admit he's been good in dramas

Fantastic choice. Well done!!

Dude I was over there in 91, the first time and I wished we had a bootleg DVD to watch!! We were at the transition of VHS to DVD so we had neither! Then they took all our camel cigarettes because they hurt the insurgents feelings

You are going to hear this a lot, I'm guessing. In 1998, Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore starred in the romantic comedy, The Wedding Singer. Even people who don't like Adam Sandler, me included, think this is a brilliant movie. I think because it worked so well and was hugely popular with nearly all who saw it, Sandler was keen try and see if he and Drew could do it again. This movie was the result and yes, it was a variation of Groundhog Day. Please watch The Wedding Singer. You will love it and I am certain I won't be the last to suggest it to you over the next few days. Stay warm.

I was a freshman in high school when Adam Sandler released his first comedy album and it was the funniest thing I'd ever heard! I still enjoy a lot of his movies, not all though. Watch Uncut Gems for a good recent drama. That being said, I really liked 50 First Dates when I saw it before.

Not a fan of Adam Sandler. I don't think he is that funny. The only movies he was in that I liked were Airheads and The Wedding Singer. Haven't seen this one but still watched Ashleigh's reaction. How many people will still watch Ashleigh's reaction if they haven't seen the movie just to spend time with Ashleigh?

1. I've always wanted Drew Barrymore to play me in the movie of my life :) 2. I agree with Marcus. The Wedding Singer is a much better Barrymore/Sandler movie. It's such a fun move. I'm not a fan of Sandler's comedy, but he's perfect in The Wedding Singer. 3. I'm bothered that she has a baby in 50 First Dates. Can you imagine waking up every morning pregnant and having no idea what was going on?!? Or being woken up in the middle of the night by a crying baby? I know, it's just a movie and the whole premise of this movie requires some suspension of disbelief, but that's one detail that really doesn't work for me.

Do you know this film may have been inspired by a real person? She lives in England and wakes up everyday believing it’s 1994. Luckily, she met her husband before her accidents, but they married afterward, so like in the movie, everyday he shows her photos of their wedding.

The premise of this movie isn't that original either. Dana Carvey did a movie in 94 called Clean Slate where he plays a detective whose memory gets wiped out whenever he falls asleep. Same plot device but a better movie than this one.

Her car is called a Volkswagon Thing. Yes, I'm serious, and it's a real car. :)

FYI: Once upon a time Doug and a bunch of his outcast friends went looking for One-Eyed Willie's hidden treasure.......

Give Adam Sandler + Drew another Chance by watching the movie Wedding Singer!!!!

Amy Silknitter

Exact same opinion on this movie and also agree about Wedding Singer.

And then he joined this cult, or maybe it was a Fellowship. And they got together in a big Ring...no...it was about a Ring. And his best friend was Frito, or something like that.

You Don't Mess with the Zohan. Somehow this one never makes the list. It has romance, comedy, action, terrible accents...

Thomas Yanez

Edit : Never mind. Apparently I hadn't seen this movie yet. It was fine. Carry on.

They purposefully didn't want to end the movie with Lucy being suddenly cured because that is incredibly ableist and diminishes the struggles that people with brain injuries have to endure every day. It also ignores the fact that for many of them, the injuries are permanent. I agree that they glossed over how the pregnancy would have worked, but overall, it's about remembering that people with incurable brain injuries are not incapable of living the richest lives they can.

The only good or at least entertaining Adam Sandler movie for me was Click. I saw it in theaters back in 2006, and it was a year after my grandfather died (you’ll understand once you see it), so it hit me like a brick wall first time I saw it. Not to mention it was not just funny, it had a lot of deep and dark imagery that made it more than just a comedy. I’m sure others would say Spanglish, Punch Drunk Love, & Uncut Gems are his best, and yeah they are, but this one really was one of my favorites of his. Hopefully you find time this summer to watch Click (2006) you won’t regret it.

So I’ve never seen this movie, would much rather watch Happy Gilmore or Big Daddy. Thought Billy Madison was stupid. Uncut gems was completely intolerable. The absolute best Adam sandler movie is THE WEDDING SINGER!!!🎵

That day she had her daughter must have been fun... :)

Eric Janssen

There's a hilarious pan review of Click by one critic who wasn't fooled by other critics calling Click a "sweet Capra-esque fable" from the maker of Happy Gilmore, and Adam Sandler's attempts to "act", when he would clearly rather make self-indulgent home movies about his private Club Med vacations and anger issues: “The story was such a tribute to It’s a Wonderful Life...” “Yeah, and that scene where I punch my boss in the face! We had a Bed Bath & Beyond logo in the background the whole time!”

REIGN OVER ME (2007) is underrated.

The day after having her daughter would have taken next-level explaining. 'Why is my vagina in bits?' lol

I’m reading Danika’s posts in a very enthusiastic tone, and they sound like a game show montage w/o the questions. 😄
