In last week's poll, Shaun of the Dead won that poll, going up January 11th.

And after the reaction towards how "Alien" went, I'll throw that in as an option now.   Deleting "The Car" as an option right now since it was the least voted for, but I still have it and it will come back as option, I promise. :)

Picture of sleepy, cuddly Beans for tax.

And thanks for the beans.

Like I said, if you liked Alien, Aliens will blow your mind. Best movie in the franchise. :) Beans makes me really want another cat; I miss my Casey. :(

Vicky phillips

Aliens is one of my top 5 movies!!

Tony Williams

Tough part with films like The Car is the fact that most people want to watch you react to movies they have seen and loved/liked before. You reacting to a film that few people have seen probably won't go over very well. Just something to think about maybe. I'd watch you react to random commercials from Kazakhstan television, but that of course is just me.

awkwardashleigh

HAHAHA TONY IM DEAD. Maybe I'll start a second channel with just Kazahstan TV.. I hear what you mean by the not so well known movies, but ya know what's crazy. They don't go over well as far as views go, but they expose my channel to new people. I learned that with "The Gods must be crazy" because new people found me even though most of my subs had never heard of it.

Gio Vidrio

For sure wanna follow up with Aliens, then Interview. Can’t keep them vamps waiting. Also, y’all do know you can vote multiple options, right?

Anonymous

I went to go see Aliens back in 86 when I was 17. One of the best movies of all time!

Anonymous

Interview... Meh. Over hyped. Under performed. Way better vampire flicks out there. But, like most... I'm not here to see all my favorite movies. I'm here to see what pose Beans decides to strike when the camera is rolling. Agreed with Tony though. Never even HEARD of The Car!

I voted for "Christine" if only for the fact that it's a different kind of horror movie AND it's Carpenter's follow-up movie to "The Thing."

Anonymous

Good call Chris. Aliens seemed the appropriate go-to. But you're right about Christine. 🚗😱

Anonymous

She's yet to do a cameron film, so I think firsting that supersedes going back to carpenter

Anonymous

The Alien movies aren't really my thing, but I am looking forward to other reaction videos!

Anonymous

They mostly come out at night.....mostly!

Elisa H.

Do y'all think interview with a vampire will be good too react too? Not a bit long and slow? I haven't seen it in YEARS....

Be Kind

Whoa! Interview was a huge deal and a BO success. Previously, there weren’t any big vampire movies except Dracula. Interview is the one that opened the floodgates to everything that’s come after. The stars were big then and still working now so she’ll be able to get a sense of their trajectory. I’m not even a vampire fan, but I recognize the significance of the film to the genre.

This one is great but I wouldn't bother with any of the other sequels. If you would like to react to another John Carpenter film, may I suggest They Live.

Gio Vidrio

Oh there are a lot of jaw dropping moments in that movie, but I agree it’ll drag on for a moment in the middle Paris segment, but then kick back towards the climactic moments.

SplinterTME

If Aliens Wins, Make sure its the Director's Cut or Special Edition. There are restored scenes that help make the plot more impactful.

1000thghost

The other alien sequels weren't as great but I would definitely watch this one and then just consider it done.

Andreas

I like Alien 3 too. Because its so depressive

Eric Janssen

Aliens 3 always gets cult-fanboy votes for "You HAVE to watch it, because you have to watch every single thing David Fincher ever directed in his life!", and that's about the only imaginable reason for watching it. Which isn't enough.

Be Kind

So Shaun & Aliens are on the board. Do we want to continue w/Predator & Alien v Predator? Or maybe revisit Friday the 13th Parts 2 & 3 where she can finally see Jason? Or something completely different?

christopher brown

The Terminator, Terminator 2 and Predator should be up for a poll

Eric Janssen

So, I'm late here, and I must ask: Just how the heck did "The Car" end up on the lists, anyway? That's not even a GOOD bad movie, and I remember we just sort of laughed the ads offscreen when it opened. Who even remembered the movie, anyway?--Did someone run across it on streaming, or did it become some cult decade "symbol" of bad 70's B-movies? ('Cause...there were some worse, y'know--As decade-kitsch goes, it's no Exorcist II.)

I was thinking maybe kindergarten cop would be the right introduction to Schwarzenegger for Ashleigh

awkwardashleigh

A good friend told me that it was awful but had kind of a cult following (kind of like The gods Must Be Crazy) so it ended up getting voting on for the simple fact I have the movie and was just inerested in seeing if anyone liked it. haha

Be Kind

Her fav genres are horror, thriller, mystery (I think). On my list: Suspect (1987) Thriller/Mystery; Stir of Echoes (1999) Thriller/Horror; and What Lies Beneath (2000) Thriller/Horror. Any fans of those? (I’m gauging how my picks would do in polls.)

Kenton Kruger

Stir of Echoes is ok, might vote for it depending what it was up against.

Kenton Kruger

I'm not on Instagram so maybe I missed it; do we have any idea of the picks or the timeframe for the contest winners choices?

Thank you for reacting to one of my favorite movies. Now that you've seen Die Hard, next should be Interview with a Vampire (I suspect you'll think its boring) so that you can say you have seen a performance by Brad Pitt. After Interview you will need to see 12 Monkeys, which contains the greatest performance of Brad Pitt and Bruce Willis, Directed by Terry Gilliam of Monty Python and A Fish Called Wanda (Staring Jamie Lee Curtis) Fame.

Eric Janssen

Word of warning: Apart from Holy Grail/Life of Brian, which only half count, the only Terry Gilliam film any overenthusiastic total-stranger should MAKE you see is Time Bandits...Due to it being one of the underappreciated Essentials of the 80's. (Oh, and Terry had nothing to do with Wanda.)

Danika Silva

Spoilers is in the title, meaning that there is a second one 😳

SplinterTME

Eric Janssen. I have to slightly disagree. 12 Monkeys is a Gilliam film that is definitely a must watch.

Shaolin Soccer and Kung Fu Hustle? Anybody? Anybody?

What about Steven Spielberg's The Color Purple?

Eric Janssen

Okay, I've got a pick: If Ash's going to call herself a "Millennial moviegoer", there is one ULTIMATE TEST to determine if one is a "good" Millennial Movie Fan, or a "bad" Movie Millennial. (The first is curious, and says, "OMG, why did I never see this before, 80's movies were so fun back then!", and the second snickers hiply and says "Hawhaw, look at that hair, look at them try to do movies without CGI!--Our parents' movies were so broken back then, lol, faaaaail!....") I’m pretty sure Ash’s one of the Good ones, but we’ll never know for sure unless we see her watch…1981’s “Clash of the Titans”. Show this one, and just watch the YT comments polarize--I’ve seen fights break out. ;)

Hope Interview with *the* Vampire is still on your shortlist :)

GamerGal8684

I think after Aliens then Interview w the Vampire is a must. It is a time when Tom Cruise was sane and vampires didn’t sparkle lol. But I won’t say anything else since I don’t want spoilers lol

Moni Castaneda

Question: are you doing the special extended edition of Aliens? I would like to know for the watch along... (Hint, the special edition shows the colonists at the beginning and the family finding the ship with the eggs)...

Anonymous

Lord help you if its Aliens...

Luis Torrefranca

Just saw the Aliens reaction. Looking forward to Alien 3.

Powers209

Has either of the other movies been added to another poll? I'd love to watch them with you.
