Just to answer your questions. The church they were in is actually Liverpool cathedral. I have been there and it is absolutely stunning inside. Tommy is worried about Ruby having Polly's and Tommy's second sight, but the sighting of the grey man and the man with the green eyes is a theme that runs through. Did you know that Jack Nelson's character is actually based on Joseph Kennedy the father of JF Kennedy. There lives are remarkably similar but of course Uncle Jack is ficticious. It's all hotting up. Yes Lady Diana Mitford is a real historical character who eventually marries Mosely. She was in real life a dispicable women sharing the same ideolygy as Moseley. Of course Diana has her eye on Tommy.
