Which 80's Throwback movie should I watch next?

Hey Jen, I know Commando is behind in the polls but if you ever get around to watching it and pay attention, it takes place in Val Verde, the same fictional country that comes out in Predator!

Raiders would be fun but I'd personally love to see you do Blade Runner. That being said, 𝒘𝒉𝒊𝒄𝒉 𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒔𝒊𝒐𝒏 of Blade Runner to do is a very divisive thing on the internet. The theatrical release has a deadpan film-noir style voice over by the protagonist which runs throughout the story, adding to the feel of it being a Mickey Spillane type detective story. There's various director's cuts etc. in which the voice over is cut out. Personally, I like the feeling of it WITH the voice over because it adds to the retro vibe, adds color and even gives you information you may miss without it. Without it, the story drags in my personal opinion. Those who DON'T like the voice over usually say it's because the director didn't originally intend to have it there and that Harrison Ford didn't like it so he did it in a very emotionless, dry way hoping that whoever ended up deciding would cut it for being a poor performance. Someone's going to be disappointed whichever version you do but all agree that it's a "must see" modern classic. It's because it's such a beloved movie that the great debate rages on.

I second TheNeonRabbits take on Blade Runner. I have no problem with the narration and I think all first timers should watch it that way. That being said, I doubt they have the voice narration on any streaming services, so my vote goes to the 'Final Cut' version, which is how I normally watch it these days. I also like to mention to new viewers that this is not an action movie, it delves into a deep subject matter that no one was talking about when this came out. It is a beautiful movie that is one of my favorites.
