This is a movie I constantly need to rewatch. When I do, I know I need to be prepared to laugh for 90 straight minutes. To me, this is the funniest movie ever made. The number of laughs per minute is great and like you said it's not always trying to be the most clever jokes, but it just goes for what is funny. I love getting to watch this with someone who has never seen it before (which is difficult) and loved you liked it as much as I do.

The two guys who directed the plane to crash into the window, are the directors. And their mother plays a part too. They also made the Naked Gun films.
