Another great reaction The shelby family are Arthur Thomas John Ada and little Finn who is about 11 at this point. Thomas smokes brown opium through the pipe at night to help relieve stresses from his PTSD The scenes where Tommy Danny and Freddie are in tunnels are harrowing. They were tunnelers or clay kickers as they were called and it was one of the toughest jobs in WW1. they would tunnel under the german trenches to blow up strategic sites to help the British advance, but as you can imagine on occassions where the Germans were doing the same thing their tunnels would be next to one another and occosionally the Germans would break through and arm to arm combat would insue. This has led to Tommys PTSD which he can't control at night time especially. Arthur is more emotional and shows his emotions quite a lot throughout the series but Tommy mangaes to keep his under control and use them to become this ruthless gangster......but with a heart.
