One of the few "scary" themed shows I did watch when I was younger was a UK show called The Worst Witch. It was about this girl at a witch academy (pre-Harry Potter) and she was terrible and almost everything, hence the name Worst Witch. I think the show had 3 seasons and I know there's a recent reboot on Netflix but I haven't seen it.
