Ken “Chaos” McKee

So that was directed by John Landis as you saw, he also did the 1978 comedy “Animal House”. In fact the advertisements for this movie went “From the director of Animal House comes…a different type of animal!’ The SFX were done by Rick Baker who’s assistant, Rob Bottin, did the SFX for John Carpenters’s The Thing (you can see some similarities) and I believe the transformation sequence was done with latex and air bladders (this is a VERY simplified explanation.) And I think I mentioned that this was one of the few horror movies to freak me out at a young age (and even a bit now), but couldn’t say why due to spoilers, but yeah, it was mainly the nazi zombie scene, no thank you! Also, sorry for the long comment, but this is one of my top 3 favorite horror movies. 😊

Interesting! I haven’t seen Animal House but I’ve heard of it 😬 Yeah I could definitely see how this would be terrifying to watch! No apologizes needed! Thanks for watching and I’m glad you enjoyed the video!
