How are you enjoying spring? What a lovely season of beginnings and awakenings 💕. So grateful to be here with you.

In this video, you will meet a new guest on the channel! May I present to you Rachel--a gifted healer and dear friend. Her presence itself is healing, and every time I have a healing session with her, I always get tingles because of her intentional care and soothing touch. Even editing this video sent tingles all over! That never happens when I edit a video where I'm the one offering the treatment 😅. I guess I'm immune to being ASMR-triggered by myself?

I did end up cutting out quite a few scenes from this healing session, but I think the message comes across. The past few weeks, my aunt passed away from cancer, and it ended up bringing forth deeply buried grief from 2 years ago when a close friend of mine also passed away from cancer. There were overwhelming feelings of inadequacy and guilt too.

I developed an upper respiratory infection as soon as we received the news of my aunt. In Traditional Chinese Medicine, it is believed that grief injures and weakens the lungs, i.e. the immune system is weakened and you are more susceptible infections, especially respiratory infections. That's pretty much exactly what happened to me, in fact I started coughing an hour or 2 after receiving the news.

This healing session with Rachel was a great turning point in my healing the unprocessed grief and releasing it. Then subsequently welcoming love and compassion. What a beautiful transformation. I am so grateful.
