Don't fear plug-data and buy mindless flashy useless plugins. Learn it,  use it, get better at everything and connect the dots. I thought it+s a good idea to revisit the project and create a small cool re-sampler.

Goes well with your feature wishlist for the Grid. We really need an improved recorder module. Or, better yet, a sampler module which can record incoming signals. Puckette created Pure data in 1996, a few years after he licensed Max to Opcode. To this day, there’s some compatibility between Pd and Max. Of course, Max is best-known to Live users for the M4L devices. Yet there are multiple ways to prototype and develop in Max to then create plugins (using RNBO, for instance). That can be costly and somewhat complicated. With Plugdata, it should be possible to create all sorts of useful things in any (desktop) DAW. And there’s no cost associated with doing so. As you demonstrate, it’s pretty direct as opposed to creating things in an environment and then moving to the DAW. Heard about some ways to basically convert Pd into full-on plugin code. That could be fun. I just haven’t tried any of it. Another interesting path to consider is FAUST. Among other things, it can compile to all sorts of targets. And one version of the development environment uses a visual system, like the Grid, Pd, Max, Reaktor, etc. https://faust.grame.fr/

i looked already into faust. maybe there is some content there for the channel. i have to tinker with it a bit more to find some ideas or cool things to show off. 😅
