Welcome to the fifty-sixth Pokémonday voting post!

Last week's prompt was:

...ideas for version-exclusive Pokémon!

I accidentally forgot to make the prompt post available to $5 tier Patrons and up only, so I had to delete bunch of comments by lower-tier Patrons. Check out the ideas I picked from the remainders below!

And now it's time to reveal last week's winner!

Prompt: Ideas for a the second batch of Fossil Pokémon!

Winning ideas: A caveman ape (half-frozen undead forme) (by Foxdoc) and a spinosaurus (by The Negotiator)!

Runner-ups:
2: A Carnotaurus (by Shelby Kinkead and Peter Passalacqua)
3:A sabertooth tiger (by Captain Rocko)

Both the caveman and the spinosaurus got the exact same amount of votes, so I had to do a coin flip to choose between the two (I put the video evidence in the Discord channel). The Spinosaurus won!

I won't lie: the idea of doing a twist on the half-revived forme by making the caveman still partially frozen was a lot more interesting to me than yet another big bad dinosaur, so I was really rooting for the caveman, but alas, fate chose the spinosaurus. I had no idea how to give this one a creative twist so I ended making it a counterpart to Tyrunt/Tyrantrum, referencing the T. Rex/Spinosaurus rivalry. Hey, it's something.

Thank you all for your creative ideas and good luck to the ideas in this poll. May the best idea win!

CSDX

It is wild that there can be such a concept where, like fossil merging in SwSh, new Pokemon can be created if the fossil revival is messed with in any way.

Captain Rocko

Come on comedy and tragedy!
