...version exclusives! 

So basically: two Pokémon (or multiple Pokémon in one evolutionary family) that would be exclusive to either of the two version of our fictional games. They don't have to be clear counterparts, but they often have some connections between them, like Braviary and Mandibuzz or Plusle and Minun or Skrelp and Clauncher.
