Welcome to the fifty-first Pokémonday voting post!
Last week's prompt was:
Okay so basically everyone wanted to see a Water/Ghost pirate captain, hahaha. I've decided that the Swashbuckler D&D class will be a given (since Teenyrex and Payanda also have D&D evolutions now), so this poll will mostly influence its secondary design inspiration. Scroll down to see the ideas I picked!
And now it's time to reveal last week's winner!
Prompt: Ideas for a Payanda's evolutions!
Winning idea: A D&D trickster/bard tanuki (by Panini Cupcake)
Runner-ups:
2: A Grass/Fire type that uses bamboo cannons (by jazzy GBA)
3: A panda D&D monk (by Foxdoc)
4: A Fire/Poison ninja (by Peter Passalacqua)
So... this one probably needs some explaining. Apparently, there's a Rogue subclass in Dungeons & Dragons called Arcane Trickster. Arcane Tricksters can summon an invisible hand, which is wat Arcanuki is using to wield his burning staff. Arcanuki is also based on Kachi-kachi Yama, a Japanase folktale about a rabbit that sets fire to the wood a tanuki is carrying on it's back. So a whole lot of concepts blended into a single Pokémon, which is how I like 'em!
Thank you all for your creative ideas and good luck to the ideas in this poll. May the best idea win!
