I am currently alone in the office and it's 6:30 PM. Everyone was working elsewhere or at home today. Even I just got in after a hard day's work at my other job. Christiaan kindly reminded me "patreon blogpost" (direct quote), so here's me, Abel, writing a blog post for all you... ten(?) people while listening to the Rayman 2 soundtrack in an empty office.

Most of the time, when I'm done at my other job on Monday, I go straight home and relax my ass of with some game, series or movie. But it's December, which means I'm busy. VERY busy. I actually wrapped up my work on Judge Mental last Friday, but there's still so much other stuff to be done that I kinda need to work in the evenings as well. The stuff we're working on will DEFINITELY be posted here as well, as it has to do with comics and our... public image.

In the meantime, I'd like to show some art Coen and I have been making for Judge Mental. Since Christiaan spilled the beans on the game two weeks ago, I'm guessing it's okay for me to do that.

Judge Mental is pretty art-heavy, although not in the conventional way. I think somewhere along the road I made the decision that every question should have a unique piece of art. Which was a horrible decision in terms of time management, but a great decision for the look and feel of the game. Check out the above image. It's eight of thirty (!!) questions Coen and I drew. If you count from left to right, 1, 2, 3, 6, and 8 are mine. The others are made by Coen. When the game officially launches somewhere next year, we'll definitely show the rest of the art! I also attached some art of the Final Judgements, which are the last questions you'll encounter in the game. Some of them are pretty great, if I may say so myself.

Take care everybody!

- Abel
