So what’s it like doing an Internship at Wooden Plank?You know that nervous feeling you get before jumping off a cliff? Me neither, not even on my first day working here. Everyone is relaxed and enjoys the good vibes. We make a team of four, that’s two code guys and two artists (including me, good times). The other Intern is Luuk, he’s my ‘Huh, how does this thing work’ buddy. Because just as every new experience, there are many things to learn. For instance, “How do I tilt this Wacom...? “How many chocolate coffee can I have on a single day?” and “What even is a Haiku?”.Anyway, besides feeling stupid, I’m able to do the things I do best; animation and art! We are working on a fresh project that originated from a game jam. My job consist of making lots of backgrounds and characters for the game. Also some short animations to make the backgrounds come alive. I’m very curious to see where the project will go, I hope I will still be there when it’s finished. We’ll see. For now I’m gonna keep on drawing cool things, see ya!
