1: I thought it would be nice to have some other well-known characters cameo via Mii costumes, so I put in Shantae (Brawler) and Aerith (Swordfighter) in the first panel. Kinda like how Smash uses Mii costumes for cameos as well, edmg7.
2: Yes!! Those Miis are the ones that were shown in the Mii Fighter showcase way back in the day, Generic Hero! (Abe Lincoln, Elijah Wood and Ice-T)
3: And Sakurai's Mii is there as well, as pointed out by Zanreo.
4: Another Mii is just straight up chilling while being carried by Ryu. They're indeed used to stuff like this, Phloxiana. It seems to be Matt from Mii Sports, by the way.
5: Yes, Incineroar (the Heel Pokémon) coming up with this plan to antagonize Sephiroth is indeed very on brand, FoxdocDylan!
6: Some Pikmin are chilling above the door in the third panel. Among them is a blue crewmate, disguised in Pikmin colours. Yahaha, you found him, Pandocula.
7: Michael Ederer correctly pointed out that there are some Fire Flowers growing outside of the Smash house.
8: Sephiroth recruited the Awoofy from the previous comic he appeared in as a minion. Said Awoofy is very confused about Sephiroth being scared of the Doom Slayers, since he isn't aware of their history. Good catch, Lord Circe.
9: Whoever wrote that sign in the fourth panel thought that Sephiroth was called "Sephirob". Guess that rules out Isabelle, Zach.
10: Hehehe caffiine. I like that. Yes, one of the Doom Slayers is drinking from a cup labeled "coffii", Tejayes!
11: One of the Doom Slayers in the seventh panel is reading a book about rabbits. This is indeed a reference to Doom Slayer's pet rabbit Daisy, Dave Papworth, but there's also a picture of Balthazar on the cover, as mentioned by Jon Brouse.
12: Another Doom Slayer is knitting a nice Cacodemon scarf, as mentioned by VisionPlayer22!
13: This week's loss in indeed visible in the sheen on the Doom Slayer visors in the seventh panel, A Sad Fat Dragon with No Friends!
14: That was me being lazy and not wanting to come up with a creative way to use the vertical space in that panel, Daniel Myhre. So I just made one Doom Slayer hang from the ceiling somehow.
15: Yeah, one Mii said fuck it and dressed up as Cuphead. Or maybe Incineroar thought the inclusion of Cuphead would be more threatening to Sephiroth? Cuphead has experience fighting devils after all. Anyway, good catch Chj92.
16: Thanks to a suggestion from Trigger in the Discord (and mentioned by Cameron Devera), I added Sephiroth's wing popping out in the final panel last-minute.
17: One of the Doom Slayers in the final panel is Naruto running. Must be a huge nerd underneath that armor, Lukas Wandler.
18: I'm not 100% sure if we're talking about the same meme, but I did Google "anime run" and a gif of a guy chasing a kid came up, so yeah, I guess it is, Jazz hands!
