Hidden Details: Super Nativity Brothers (Patreon)
Content
Welcome to the sixty-fourth episode of the Hidden Details blog!
Have you found some obscure reference or detail in this comic? A JoJo reference? A sneaky little Loss? A callback to a previous comic? Let us know what you've found in the comments! Every detail that has been found will be added to the list below. Once everything has been found, this comic will officially be marked with "all details found".
After this blog, I will count all the answers of all the blogs in 2020 and see who won this year. Once I know who the winner is, we'll give both the 2019 winner and 2020 winner a nice little prize.
Please only comment with ONE hidden detail or reference!
It's a bit hard to decide what's a "hidden" detail and what's not this week, but I'll be generous in counting them. I counted at least 16 on my own!
1: Rosalina's staff has a little heart at the end!
2: Snake has indeed placed some C9 and is waiting to trigger it. I have no idea why, Trigger.
3: Donkey Kong is indeed an actual donkey this time, Zanreo.
4: Dark Pit is heartbroken by the fact that he has been replaced by an actual edgy angel. I hope you feel sorry for him, John Hattan.
5: There's a little Korok sitting on Link's staff and he's holding some up some holly. Awww.
6: Wise man Cloud is bringing the gift of THE SAUCE. I have no idea what this means, I haven't played Final Fantasy VII.
7: Cloud is giving Sephiroth, his eternal nemesis, a death stare. Sephiroth is a actually looking at Pit and judging his energetic happiness, CrazySeanDX.
8: Cloud is wearing a little crown on one of his hair spikes. How else is that anime boy ever going to wear a crown?
9: Wise man Mario is bringing the gift of Myrrh...io. I was really proud of this joke, Zach.
10: Wise man Steve brings the gift of gold. Because you can mine gold in Minecraft. Another one I was very proud of.
11: One of the Pikmin has been eaten and his buddy is looking in horror. I wonder who ate him, Daniel Myhre?
12: ...maybe it was the actual Wolf O'Donnell in sheep's clothing, Toon Draw?
13: This time around, the moon is the scary moon from Majora's Mask. Good catch, Marwan Abunura.
14: All the birds of Smash (Duck, Kazooie and Falco) are dressed as chickens.
15: Villager is in the background on the right side looking at stars and making wishes, just like one can do in Animal Crossing. Glad he's taken a break from the usual murderous shenanigans, Luke.
16: Man, Alex Nelson once again coming in with the references I didn't even know I was making. Bowser WAS indeed based on an ox, back in the day! Good catch!
After one week, I'll reveal all the details that haven't been found. These ones are written in italic.
Oh and I wish you all a great 2021!
