Lots of Starbucks-related jokes in this week's comic. If you have missed it, you should read a bit about the famous beverage before continuing. When something like this happens, I'm always torn between ignoring it to be original, or bank on the popularity of the joke. In this case, I went with the latter and completely embraced the inclusion of Starbucks in the Game of Thrones lore.

Here are all the Hidden Details, Starbucks related and non-Starbucks related:

I tried to give Jon and his horse the same sulky look/eyebrows.

In the background of the first panel, you can already see Ghost looking from the tower.

Both Jon and Davos' horses have cupholders. They're both carrying a Starbucks cup to make the long (half an episode) journey to King's Landing a bit more pleasant. All the characters in this comics are carrying Starbucks cups, and every cup is bearing an incorrectly spelled name. Starbucks employees infamously do that, apparently. I remember getting a cup with "Abor" written on it. There are people who claim the employees are told to do this on purpose so people share images of the cups on social media, but that was debunked when I asked a Starbucks employee about it a while back. Then again, I asked a Dutch barista in a Dutch Starbucks, so it might be different in the US or other countries.

Anyway, Jon is misspelled as Tom. Davos becomes David.

Also I made sure not to forget to remove Davos' fingers from his right hand.

There are no hidden details in the second and third panels, since those panels just zoom in on Ghost. There's a bunch in the fourth though:

There's a raven waiting in the windowsill next to Ghost. It might be Bran, but it might also just be the raven Ghost is using to send the letter to Cersei.

Ghost is misspelled as Goat on his Starbucks cup.

The Cleganebowl once again makes an appearance. This time, it's used as a bowl with dog treats to provide Ghost with some tasty snacks while he's writing his letter.

If you look very closely, you'll notice a cardboard cutout of Bran is hiding in this panel, right behind Ghost.

Cersei's Starbucks cup is shaped as a wine glass, since she drinks quite a lot of wine in the series. Her name is misspelled as Sergei. She's also wearing a elephant necklace, referencing her wish from the season 8 premiere. Qyburn's Starbucks cup name is misspelled as Qwerty (the keyboard layout). Euron's name is simply misspelled as Euro.

Onto the bonus panel, featuring Tormund as a Starbucks barista:

Sansa's name is misspelled as Salsa. This is also a reference to Nina's habit of calling every character on the show Salsa. She doesn't watch it.

And finally, the milk barista Tormund is using to create his cappuccinos is giant's milk, naturally.

And that's it! I feel like I should, from this point on, hide three things in the final two Game of Thrones comics:

- A Cleganebowl
- Cardboard Cutout Bran
- A Starbucks cup

So keep an eye out for this holy trinity next week! See you then, have a great weekend!

Cheers,

- Abel
