Things are so hectic I almost forgot to write the Hidden Details blog! And we can't have that, because there are at least two loyal fans waiting for it. Hi mom!

Anyway, since the last three Thanos Preparing for Endgame comics aren't done yet, I'll reveal all the Hidden Details in episodes 1 through 8. You'll get the final three last week, along with the Hidden Details in the first Game of Thrones season 8 comic! Or should I write separate blogs? Argh, I don't know anymore! I'll make up my mind somewhere in the coming weeks. For now, enjoy the following Hidden Details, references and jokes!

Please note that episodes 6, 7 and 8 haven't been revealed to the general public yet. But because YOU are a Wooden Plank Studios Patron, you get exclusive early access!

Episode 1: Ant-Man

Okay, in the first panel of Ant-Man's comic, there's a whiteboard FULL with memes about Ant-Man crawling up Thanos' ass. I'm not going to show them all in their original size (mostly because some are super cursed), but you can find them all on this Know Your Meme page. The purple image to the left of Cap is the Russo Brother's profile picture on Instagram by the way.

Captain America is lubing up Ant-Man for the big "Whatever it Takes" plan.

To give Thanos just a tiny bit of educated flair, I gave him a pair of glasses in the second panel.

Apparently, people thought this was supposed to be a ghost-version of Ebony Maw. It's obviously ice, right? Because he was sucked into space and froze/suffocated to death? Or do suck at drawing frozen characters?

Anyway, if there had been ANY mention of secondary villains in Endgame, I'd have used those, but even Thanos has hardly been featured in the trailers, so I was forced to resurrect Ebony Maw to have a conversational partner for Thanos in this panel.

In all the comics, the final panel features Thanos' Infinity Whiteboard. I hoped that by revealing it's a special whiteboard, people wouldn't whine about the names moving around. Boy was I wrong. More on that later.

Episode 2: Thor

There aren't many Hidden Details in Thor's comic, but there are some interesting cardboard Thanos faces in the third panel. There's Female Thanos, Anime Thanos, Bushy Eyebrows Thanos, Disguise Thanos and Ballsack Thanos.

Episode 3: Hawkeye

I included Kraglin being choked in the third panel, since Thanos stole his fin-mohawk-device thingy.

Episode 4: Hulk

Loss makes a guest appearance in the Hulk comic. In Ganondorf's little scarf-thingy, you can read "oh my god", "here it comes" and finally, Loss.

A picture of Bruce Banner's ex-girlfriend, Betty Ross (Liv Tyler) is hanging on the wall behind them.

Episode 5: War Machine

In War Machine's comic, Kevin Feige (Marvel Studios' big boss) makes an appearance. He always wears hats with geeky logos or icons. In this comic, he's wearing a Fantastic Four cap, foreshadowing the inevitable appearance of the Fantastic Four in the MCU now that Disney owns those characters as well.

I thought it was a bit circlejerky, but I gave Kevin Feige the title of "Lord & Saviour". There are many people who consider him some kind of saint because he's so good at bringing together different heroes and properties.

In the background, you can see a box of scraps. Underneath, "(Vision's remains)" is written. Vision was reduced to scrap metal in Infinity War and apparently, this is where the Avengers have stored him.

At this point in the series, people (especially on Reddit) were bitching about the names moving on the whiteboard, so I wrote this snarky piece of extra dialogue to shut them up once and for all.

Episode 6: Black Widow

Black Widow's bathrobe features little silhouettes of actual Black Widow spiders!

Newspapers are always great places for hidden details and references. I put some bogus articles in this one, like "My Favorite YouTuber Was Snapped, What Do I Do?" and "Avengers Have No Idea What To Do, Just Sit Around Drinking Coffee!".

In the second panel, you can see that Black Widow's newspaper is called "NEWSSSSSSS".

Thanos quotes himself in this comic ("This day extracts a heavy toll", when he learns Ebony Maw has died, in Infinity War).

In this panel, you can see a little label on the wig Thanos is using to disguise himself as the Hulk.

Even more hidden details on the final panel with the newspaper: the title of the newspaper has suddenly changed to simply "NEWSPAPER". Underneath that, one can read "Omae Wa Mou Shindeiru". And just above Black Widow's hand: "NANI?"

Above NANI? though, you can see a little image that resembles Loss, but, if you take a closer look, isn't Loss at all. This is further acknowledged by "No, It's Not Loss" next to it.

Episode 7: Rocket

I had to use some horrifying and dangerous monster on the other side of the portal that Rocket jumps through, so I just used the Abilisk from Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2.

Also, this comic is a slight nod to SpongeBob. You know, the episode where he tries to quit water.

Instead of just "Thor", the whiteboard in this comic reads "What Thor Haha".

Episode 8: Nebula

Nebula's icon used in her title panel is a Yaro Root.

Thanos' wallet is full of little jokes. He has a 1/2 dollar bill from the United States of Titan in it, since he's such a sucker for balance. There's also a Black Order membership card, a regular Visa credit card, a "Snap License", revealing that what Thanos did was perfectly legal since he was carrying a license. He also has a drivers license which you can see behind the pictures of baby Nebula and Gamora. He sports a pretty epic moustache in the picture on his drivers license.

In the same panel, you can see Thanos peeking to see if Nebula has found the photo's.

In the third panel, Nebula suddenly wears Harley Quinn's "Daddy's Little Monster"-shirt, but Monster has been replaced with Android.

The Cool S is a regular guest in our comics. In this comic, Thanos can be seen practicing writing it and even using it to write his own name.

And there we have it: all the hidden details in the first 8 episodes! Because the sheer amount, I've made the text a bit more snappy, hope you don't mind. And I hope you've enjoyed them! See you all next week again!

Cheers!
