Wooden Update: new website, merchandise, Game of Thrones, Avengers and more! (Patreon)

Hey everyone! We have a few exciting updates for you! We'll also be sharing these on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter, but you get a bit more in-depth information.

First off: we're stil trying to figure out how to do giveaway now that Patreon has told us we can't do those anymore. But since we've been very busy with other stuff, bringing back the giveaways isn't our #1 priority right now. These things, on the other hand, are:

Our website will soon get a much-needed overhaul. It’ll have a pretty cool filter system (in case you want to only see comics about Nintendo games for instance), a single planel slider (like Instagram), a dedicated space for Tuesday Choosedays and even a store!

Which brings us to...

We will finally start selling merchandise shortly after the new website launches. You’ll be able to buy posters and prints (Everyone is Celebrating, for example), as well as clothing characters are wearing in our comics. If you have any merchandise suggestions, please let us know! We’re new to this and we can use the feedback.

Here's an exclusive look at a few test prints we've done. The quality of the fabric is pretty great!

What else we'll be selling will remain a surprise for a while longer. While this sounds cool, it just means we haven't completely figured it out yet. But we'll make sure it'll be good!

There are probably a few Game of Thrones fans among you who are wondering if we’re going to start drawing Game of Thrones comics again. To which I can answer: absolutely! The previous Game of Thrones comics were immensely successful and we can’t miss the final season! Like last two seasons, every episode will get a comic the Wednesday after the episode aired.

If you’re not into Game of Thrones: don’t worry. We’ll be back with comics about Smash/Zelda/Pokémon/other geeky stuff after Game of Thrones finishes.

While Game of Thrones is airing, Avengers: Endgame will be released! I think our fanbase roughly consists of three to four big groups: Smash fans, Marvel fans, Game of Thrones fans and Pokémon fans. We’re trying to please each and every one of you, so we can’t ignore Endgame. Last year, we did a series called “Avengers Preparing for Infinity War” leading up to the release of Avengers: Infinity War. This year’s sequel to that series will be called “Thanos Preparing for Endgame”! It’ll be a series of 10 mini-comics. A new episode will be released every two days. The first episode will be released on April 6th. Tuesday Chooseday and Game of Thrones comics will continue as normal while Thanos Preparing for Infinity War is going on!

Lastly, we've set up our Discord server! If you're reading this, that means you have exclusive access to our awesome Patron-exclusive Discord channel (just kidding, it's completely empty... FOR NOW). If you link your Patreon account with your Discord account, you'll automatically get access. Here's a guide on how to do that.
