This comic was a monster, particularly because of that last panel. The process of making this week's comic was super weird and hectic as well. I sacrificed my weekend to draw the line art. When I wanted to continue working on Monday morning, the PC at the office didn't boot, so I was forced to go back home and work from there. As soon as I arrived home, I heard there had been a shooting in Utrecht. The shooter was later caught just a few blocks from here. Surreal. It felt very weird to keep on drawing while this stuff was going on, but it helps to keep my mind off things. I wonder if turbulent days like these are visible in the comic one way or another.
