Wooden Update: About Giveaways (Patreon)

Hey Patrons! Slightly annoying news: apparently, the way we handle giveaways (portraits and holiday giveaways) isn't allowed by Patron's Terms of Use. They've recently taken a harder line against giveaways, raffles and contest because there was - apparently - a lot of fraud going on. Their rules state:

- Giveaways should be open to the general public;
- There should be no advantages to your Patrons;
- If the giveaway is stated in the Reward Tier, everyone subscribed should receive the giveaway;
- There should be no monetary factor involved to gain access or to join;
- Winning should not be based on chances, entries or draws.

Our portrait and holiday giveaways basically clash with every one of these rules, so we unfortunately have to remove them from our Patreon page, because we don't want our page to be shut down.

Within the next two weeks, we will come up with an alternative. I really enjoy drawing portraits and posters for you guys, so if there's any legal way, shape or form that allows us to continue doing so, we'll try to find it. Perhaps we just need to move the giveaways to another platform. Anyway, we'll let you know what we come up with! Please accept our apologies for the time being. Or, in the words of a famous CEO: please understand.
