Yooo! Here are the (sparse) hidden details in this week's comic, Canine Intervention.

The title is another very clever play of words! This time, it's a play on "divine intervention" (which Palutena introduces herself with in her reveal trailer AND is the title of her Classic Mode). Let's just ignore that I spend 20 frustrating minutes coming up with this title, ok?

Almost all the hidden details are in the last panel, since the panels with Galeem and Dharkon were crowded enough as is. I do want to pat myself on the back for this though:

I made sure Galeem and Dharkon's fonts/speech bubbles match their powers. Galeem has white speech bubbles with a glowing, pompous font. Dharkon has pitch-black speech bubbles with a scary-looking font. Not really a hidden detail, I know, but I'm proud of it so I wanted to make sure you all noticed it.

Now, let's skip to the end of the comic. Next to Sakurai is the sign that was visible in Roster Imposter:

Huh. When you put those pictures next to each other you can clearly see my visual style changing. Neat!

Also, Sakurai is once again wearing a reddish shirt with a little reference on it:

This time, his shirt is adorned with little portraits of Morgana, the cat sidekick from Persona 5. Sakurai thinks Morgana is kawaii. Don't believe me? Watch this.

Behind Sakurai, there's a bit more continuity going on:

In Everyone is Celebrating, Mr. Game & Watch got Ms. Game & Watch as a present. In A Piercing Speech, you can see the happy couple eh... "hugging" each other. And now, I'm very happy and proud to announce that Ms. Game & Watch is expecting a little Game & Watch Junior! Isn't that wholesome?

The mat Sakurai is standing on says "Welcome! (Unless you're Waluigi)", but it's very hard to make out because... well, because Sakurai is standing on it.

And finally, I once again used Kapp'n and his little yellow bus as the public transport the characters use. How Galeem AND Dharkon fit in this little vehicle I don't know, but you can see Kapp'n isn't very happy with half of Galeem's spaghetti that's still stuck in his bus.

And that's all, folks! I blame Galeem and Dharkon for the lack of hidden details this week. Hopefully they won't be in next week's comic, also because they are incredibly annoying to draw.

Have a wonderful weekend!

Cheers!

- Abel
