Welcome to the seventy-third and final Pokémonday voting post!
Last week's prompt was:
...ideas for our Mythical Pokémon!
Can't believe this is the last time I had to pick ideas for a poll... It's been great, everyone. Thanks again for your creativity each and every week. Please check the poll below to see which ideas I picked one last time!
And now it's time to reveal last week's winner!
Prompt: Ideas for our box Legendaries!
Winning idea:
One legendary representing Dungeons and one representing Dragons (by The Wesinator)
Runner-ups:
2: Zeus, Hades & Poseidon (by Matan & Aetos)
3: A life guardian and an afterlife guardian (by Peter Passalacqua)
4: Three iconic D&D monsters (by Aetos, Shelby Kinkead & Jesp)
Because Dragons are already a bit overrepresented in our dex, I decided to let myself be inspired by Bahamut for Virtuma, the D&D dragon that disguises itself as a peasant with seven golden birds. I tried my best to give it some bird-like and human aspects in its design. As for Malovine, I tried to let it represent both a Dungeon, a minotaur and Baphomet (a D&D demon lord). Virtuma and Malovine represent good and evil (maybe our fiction game would be called Pokémon Good and Pokémon Evil?), so Corvatum represents neutrality and indifferent fate. She is based on the Raven Queen, a neutral D&D deity. So to summarize, we have a Dragon, a Dungeon and a Deity.
Thank you all for your creative ideas and good luck to the ideas in this poll. May the best idea win!
