Welcome to the two-hundredth-and-third episode of the Hidden Details blog!

Have you found some obscure reference or detail in this comic? A JoJo reference? A sneaky little Loss? A callback to a previous comic? Let us know what you've found in the comments! Every detail that has been found will be added to the list below. Once everything has been found, this comic will officially be marked with "all details found".

Please only comment with ONE hidden detail or reference!

There's one Loss, one Balthazar, one Miep and one crewmate. Bonus comics don't count.

FIRST PANEL
1:
A Colossi and Doshin the Giant are about to square off the background. Is it the third? I've never played Shadow of the Colossus, Spirit of Gotham.
2:
It might be a bit hard to see for the untrained eye, but the guy being carried off is Jack Baker, the Resident Evil 7 main antagonist.

SECOND PANEL
3:
Another Master Hand is playing the gotcha game, although I guess we can almost consider it cheating when they do it in a place that you were probably already going to look. Still... gotcha, Lord Circe.
4:
It's been ages since I last put one of these in, but that palm tree shape in the background is an Alolan Exeggutor. I used to put those in every Young Adult Red comic back in the day.

THIRD PANEL
5:
This whole panel is one big JoJo reference, of course. Found by Cameron Devera.
6:
There's also a little Pikmin sprout in the ground because I've been playing Pikmin 4. Not so random, Jon Brouse.
7:
Miep is watchng Sephiroth approach Malenia from behind a bush. She's visible underneath Sephiroth. Good catch, Green Dragon 53!

FOURTH PANEL
8:
Malenia's circle thingy on her shoulder pad turns into a crewmate in the lower left corner of this panel. Impressed you noticed it, Brandon Digwood!
9:
Apparently, Red and Blue are also on the island. Blue has carved "Blue was here, Red is a loser" into the tree behind Layton and Sackboy, which is a reference to what his anime counterpart Gary did. You got it, A Sad Fat Dragon with No Friends.

FIFTH PANEL
10:
Balthazar and the emerged Pikmin are running away from the second phases that are about to clash. The Pikmin isn't chasing Balthazar, Ethan Cross.
11:
Lots of the dialogue in this comic is straight from actual games or cutscenes, particularly "now, I will bring you despair" and Malenia's monologue when she transforms into her second phase. Glad you pointed that out, Generic Hero!

EIGHTH PANEL
12:
This week's loss is visible in the big butterflies that are coming from Malenia in this panel! Glad you were the one to notice it once again, Trigger!
13:
There's another Gobbo watching in the background. I think last week's comic has turned me into a Croc stan, Pokedude14.

Details that have not been found are marked italic.

The Third panel is a Jojo reference! Sephiroth is doing the classic Jojo walk!

Generic Hero

Malenia's dialogue when she transforms is taken word-for-word from Elden Ring, as is her saying she has "never known defeat"
