2022, The Year of Growth (Patreon)

It's two weeks into 2022 and it's time to actually formalize what the grand "plan" is, right? 2021 was a fairly impressive year with some major growth, but looking forward is often the most important plan.

I have five major things I want to do this year, not necessarily "resolutions" more in the line of "things I want to do."

Reach Twitch Affiliate / 200 Followers

Amazingly, I already managed to the first half, which I feel incredibly accomplished already. This goal was more of a milestone achievement in my book, as not only will it allow more people to find me, it'll also allow those Eastern European and South Americans whom I owe a lot too to actually WATCH THE CONTENT!

The goal now can be summarized as "Continue to Grow," as I gradually build an empire of Influencer Dust. Also, I give all of you permission to assassinate me if I ever call myself an Influencer unironically.

Reach 500 Subscribers on Youtube

This doesn't seem that impressive, but for what I do, it's nice. Similar to the Twitch goal, this is more of a milestone, one that I can lord over others as a despot for my growing influence. This also folds into a desire to "Expand Content" by producing more Little Opinions, Classrooms, and a maybe another show. I hope to actually get some better equipment, but that'll come after some other personal matters this year.

Increase the Production of Games

"Notepad, you produce two games a month, why?" Perhaps it's not the best wording of it, but generally I want to pump out more games for the viewing public. I see more people pump out these 2-Page "Games" and I say, hell, why can't I turn some of my games into Ashcans rather than just use the Google Docs method I've been employing. All in all, my goal is to expand The Library out a bit more, as well as get those Black & White and Lightly Formatted Ashcans out to the viewing public. At least someone will read the damn things, maybe, perhaps, I can dream.

Networking

This is a lofty goal if I've ever seen one, but I want to "Network" better. I keep inquiring what "Networking" actually means, and what I usually discover is "be a Twitter Person." I hate Twitter People. However, it's the way the cookie crumbles, so I want to try to get myself "out there" more. Whether this is more professional circles or actual industry contacts, both serve an important function. I am actually far better talking to people than doing the Twitter Dance, so that's a problem.

This also means I want to do more Freelancer or Commission Work, I actually enjoy the restrictions of Commission work sometimes. Restriction breeds creativity as they say.

Grow the Patreon

Yes, you all. I want to get a whopping 10 Patrons. Again, not massive, but its a milestone. A milestone proving this entire thing actually works. Whether its for the videos or for the games, I'd like to grow this place. I keep thinking of what I can offer and, I uh, don't have much. Any ideas would be appreciated, I trust the judgement of the people who hand me money willingly.

And that's that. It may not be these impressive far reaching goals, but they are goals to work toward. As for the rest of you, raise a glass, we have a full year of the weird, wacky, and whatever the hell Noumenon was to get through.
