It's that time of the month again, with PIGS starting, the To-Do List has officially been opened up. So, as usual, Democracy Demands Blood.
There are a few games on this list this time, a returner, but a majority of new faces. If anyone has any distinctive requests, I'll make sure to add them to the next Notocratic Vote. Exploit your plutocratic powers for the good of yourself and little else.
Satan Wore Snakeskin
At its core, SNS is going to be a game about DRAMA and the bizarre world of the rich, privileged, and exceedingly stupid. I'll probably be tweaking the D20 System in place for Morons with Pedigrees, BUT adding in the caveat of being a "Television Show" that these people are a part of. It's going to be about the people at the top, and how low they sink when needed.
Chanbara Gindhouse
Using the Japanese term for Swordfighting, Chanbara Gindhouse is all about being in a cheestacular, dumb, and cheap grindhouse movie. Taking some cues from Hong Kong Action Theatre, I want the players to -feel- like an actor making absolutely nothing. Probably going to play up the ridiculous and silly with it, maybe even heavily expand out Henshin, Hero(!) as well. Maybe even a "Actors & Characters" system.
Action Squad Combat Evolved (ASCEs)
ARMA, The Tabletop Game! Using Tick Combat from CAPS. It will see the light one day.
Qiāngxia
Literally translated to GUNHERO, Qiāngxia is going to be me proving to myself that Wuxia isn't really about all the Cultivation, but more about the "Feelings" and "Concepts" of it. Probably allow me to justify crossing out "Dreaming in the Badlands" as well. Maybe I can convince Donnie Yen & AMC to give me the OK to make an official one.
Notecromancer's Guide to Dolls
Not actually a game proper, but Notepad going into a game he quite enjoys and "adding" stuff to it. It's been knocking around my head for a bit at this point, but it's going to be literally just me adding a bunch of stuff to Nechronica. More parts, more combat options, and probably a heavily expanded Adventure System. It's . . . "Westernized" Nechroncia, but more "Investment in Local Industry" and less "Mr. Perry, Blow Those Gates Open!"
Utopia Wars
For those who don't know, I'm not a huge fan of Lancer. Personally, I just don't like the Mechs and the setting is "meh" to me. So, I thought "why don't I just make it the way I'd want it to be!" and the result was Utopia Wars. It's not going to be Lancer, but a full Notepad Mech game with big combat and making pilots the living engines of anger they should be.
