As much as I've loved ATLA, I've enjoyed Korra more, and the fact that the show can so expertly view relevant social and political movements through the lens of a kids show -- well, technically a YA show -- is one of the reasons why. This show was ahead of its time, both for its strong female representation and for having a finger on the pulse of real world issues.
