People keep saying this is the weakest episode but honestly this is probably my favourite because it’s so FUN 😂 Felt like a good ol’ fashioned mystery, murder on the moors, American werewolf in London type of thing - perfect for spooky season it’s true! It may not be as layered as the other episodes (I didn’t really get the last episode until the last 15 minutes 😅) but I was entertained pretty much all the way through it h

We say "mobile" number, rather than "cell". To be fair the series plays on a number of British common knowledge - in the previous episode 3 dogs was synonymous with the Queen.

There are multiple scenes in the first season where they got paid. The Banker case gave him a down payment and Watson collected the full check after at the end. Also they got another check that the Chinese lady found in his jacket that made her think Watson was Holmes because it was made out to Sherlock. I think after than you can assumed they get paid off-camera. I don't know why this is a thorn in your brain in these episodes.
