If you for whatever reason end up watching another Halloween, I'd recommend the 2018 Halloween, that one and this one give a good one-two punch

Christopher Mcconnell

First time watching. I thought it was interesting that Hereditary has such a similar scene where the kids are at school talking about the tragedy of characters having a destiny they cant escape.

Trevor S Bright

Also..."Halloween 3: Season of the Witch" is a surprising good one cuz it doesn't involve Michael Myers. "Halloween 2" at the time was supposed to be his death and the rest of the series was supposed to be a Halloween anthology film series with each movie being a new horror story based on/around Halloween...but the audiences were PO'd at the time so 6 years later (for the 10th anniversary) we got "Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers". H3 has gotten more of a cult following since then.

You're Forgetting: "The Great Pumpkin!!!"

Kage Uzumaki

Growing up when they use to have Halloween marathons in October it would always skip the third i was always confused but decided to ignore that fact. A few years later i finally was able to watch it separately was disappointed on initial watch but the second time enjoyed for what it was.

It's probably for the best not to watch any more. The timelines are so confusing. There's the original series of movies, Halloween 1,2,(not 3),4,5,6. Then there's Halloween H20 and Resurection which follow on from Halloween 2. Then there's the reboot Halloween 1 and 2. Then there's Halloween, which is a sequel to Halloween, which leads on to Halloween Kills, and Halloween Ends...
