Finally, someone who isn’t fooled by Zaheer’s razor. There’s something weirdly wholesome how he interacts with Tenzin’s kids. He gets down on their level when he talks to them. He talks to them like they’re humans. I have a theory that I’ll share in a few episodes. I also appreciate how Opal knows her worth. She’s a gentle soul but knows how she deserves to be treated and will say so.

That's like teaching 101. You are correct. He kneels down to get to Ikki's level. It's less threatening and it shows openness. Granted, this is all because Zaheer is an excellent manipulator, so there's that.

that but he's also very spiritual and not actually "evil". He's highly respectful of cultures and people who he thinks deserve respect. He has no issues with Tenzin's kids so he gives them respect.

He's evil, in a very real world way, as opposed to a more over-the-top cartoony way (like Ozai, for example). His motivations make sense. It's what I like about LOK, almost all of the villains are nuanced and they have pretty solid reasons for their actions. But they are still evil. For one thing, all of LOK's villains are okay with murder. They hid it a little in seasons 1 and 2 because of Nickelodeon, but once LOK went online, Season 3 and 4 villains are much more overt.

He is definitely not evil, that's the difference between season 3 and 2. Zaheer actually has valid reasons to do what he does.

You can have a valid reason and still be evil? Not sure if you've seen the whole season so I won't post spoilers, but if you think doing what he does for your own personal goal is not evil then I think you gotta rethink some things xD

His motivations are not evil, as anarchism is a very real ideology, but murdering people is wrong no matter how you slice it.
