Happy Saturday, Natalie! 😊 I'm so glad that you enjoyed this movie. I had fun watching your reaction last night. Fun Fact: Johnny Depp and Peter DeLuise, who played the two DEA agents, were in the 80s tv show of the same name. And I think that they played their same characters in this movie. Channing Tatum, Jonah Hill, Ice Cube, Dave Franco, and Rob Riggle are all fantastic in this movie. And I very highly recommend the sequel "22 Jump Street", it's just as if not more hilarious! Correct, Depp & DeLuise played the same characters! Also, in the same scene at the hotel, the movie playing on the TV in the background was an episode from the Original TV series!

Top Guns so fun! Maverick was great too! Been voting for it to win but I think you're just putting it against more popular contenders. Would love to see it keep showing up in polls

22 jumpstreet is a damn near perfect movie and even better satire of the genre and sequels. Definitely need to check it out as well. Also, johnny deep got his fame from the show 21 jumpstreet and hated being pigeon holed as rhe pretty boy (why he did a lot of weird roles early on.) When they went to do this movie, a satire of scraping old 70 and 80s tv shows for movies, they got the two original leads on board by promising to kill there original characters off

22 jump street is even better, Phil Lord and Chris Miller are just really great directors, I mean Lego Movie, Spiderverse. They know how to make a unique movie :)

I thoroughly enjoy the fact that not only do they use Straight Outta Compton on the soundtrack, but they cut from Ice Cube's verse to... well, Ice Cube.

Please just watch Top Gun so you can watch TG Maverick. Top Gun Maverick is possibly one of the best action films ever made. I would love to see your reaction to it.
