In case you haven't put it together yet, Homelander has blonde hair and blue eyes, so when Stormfront says you're everything we wanted, theres a subtle layer of meaning there too

I love how season 2 slowly gets darker and darker 'Remember when we tried to make you like Stormfront in the first 2 episodes? She's a racist. Now she's a mass murdering racist. Now she's a mass murdering racist with her claws in Homelander. Now she's a Nazi...'

I wanted Memento to win but I'm certainly not upset nor surprised that The Big Lebowski won, it's a must watch for any film buff or anyone who can appreciate/enjoy good character performances. Another Coen Brothers movie i would definitely recommend is Fargo.

Very happy that you're enjoying this series! It's quite dark but also very comedic. I'm a fan. This show is definitely up there on what I'm wanting to continue on. I'm glad that it got a season 3. Looking forward to you continuing beyond the second season. :)

They set up some of this earlier. Keep in mind that Homelander's hair was a little blonder than in the 1st season. Also, remember the first thing that Stormfront said to Homelander was "Wow, your eyes are really fucking blue!" Then you heard the Vought Nazi backstory. And the Nazis were good at propaganda, which is what Stormfront is good at with the social media. In the comics, Stormfront was actually male and it was well known that he was originally a Nazi (He was cast as a villain, but then had the "Villain turned hero" story-line in their comics in that universe (aka, the Vought propaganda)). The original Seven were actually created directly from his DNA, which was why they were stronger heroes than the other Vought heroes.

Glad Nat noticed the actor who plays Lamplighter - he's played by Shawn Ashmore who played Bobby Drake/Iceman from X-men franchise that started it all back in 2000. From the X-men movies, his character's best friend was Pyro, who did similar tricks with a lighter much like The Boys' Lamplighter! Very cool Easter Egg!

i had to hold my tongue for a long time. this nazi origin plot may be a surprise to comic/superhero fans. but in my history obsessed mind, it is the most logical sequence of events. most know that they were obsessed with proving their aryan supremacy, searching the globe for any proof of their heritage (ahnenerbe). the indiana jones plots were not far from the truth. ubermensch (supreme human) fits their idealism to a t, to me that's bonechilling. the vought baby program is directly taken from their domestic and scandinavian breeding programs. once I examine the nature of supes, I can only come to the conclusion that putting so much power in the hands of a few is none other than fascism. however benevolent or malevolent, it still is fascist. trivia: the propaganda paper of the nazi party was called "der sturmer". neonazi's took the naming convention and created the website "stormfront". it's both obscured and obvious, because of context.

Great reaction Nat. I was looking through peacock a few days ago and found the movie "mystery Men" dunno if you've seen it but it's an old favorite that is kind of an early superhero satire,like a pg13 comedy version of the boys. Suggesting it if you need a comedy some poll :)

I always wonder why people feel the need to tell everyone they're leaving and why they're doing so. Do you think Natalie's going reply with "Please don't leave! I promise to do more videos!" or something? When I cancel a Patreon subscription I do just that - no message in the comments or anything. Funny thing though, after I canceled my membership to a reactor who did not have that many subscribers she actually DM'd me twice to tell me about all the things she had coming up, basically begging me to rejoin. It made me feel a little uncomfortable and a bit sad, but she just wasn't doing enough things that interested me anymore.

The Mystery Men comic along with the comic it spun off from (Flaming Carrot) were the funniest superhero parodies I've ever read. The Mystery Men movie is unfortunately not even close to being as good as the comic.

Im not trying to make it into a big deal but, this channel went from 5 vids a week back when I joined first to 3 vids now. We had warning that it was reduced to 4 a week back in the day and everyone was ok with it because she said she was busy and people figured it would go back to normal when she had more time again, it didn’t and we sort of just let it go. Now without reasoning its starting to become 3 vids a week. No warning, nothing. Im sorry but its not exactly a five day a week 9-5 she’s getting 5$ a month from 4000+ people to watch and edit movie reactions. And she can’t get out 5 vids a week. Usually I wouldn’t say anything but COME ON. Plus the fact that she keeps watching a load of marvel shit thats gotten a bit stale for me now and her variety of reactions has decreased, im just not interested anymore. Its a shame because personality wise she has some of the best reactions on this platform, but a lot more channels have a much higher work ethic, this one’s starting to fall behind. The subscription count is an indication of that. She used to have over 5500 subs.

I know she's doing more gaming livestreams, one tonight in fact. I enjoy them but if that's not your thing I can see where that would be annoying. As for the "Marvel shit", that's not her, it's the people voting for it (including myself), she can't just stop putting Marvel in polls as that would just piss of the people who vote for it (again including myself). As for her losing subs., that is apparently happening to most reactors from what I hear. Market oversaturation and the novelty of reaction videos wearing off are probably the main factors in this phenomena.

I respect that response tbh, i think you can see where my frustration is coming from and i also understand your viewpoint on the matter. It’s just a shame cause i liked this channel soo much like a year ago and now it just feels like non marvel people are kinda getting the short end if ya get me. But no what you said is valid so fair enough.
