Hey folks!

Happy Feature Friday! It's time for more JOHN WICK!!

Since the poll for this movie and Galaxy Quest were SO CLOSE, I will be watching BOTH!! I may not watch Galaxy Quest next week, but I will make sure to watch it very soon :)

The only problem I had with this movie, suspending belief of course, is the gunshot wound he took earlier. Some of the scenes after had no blood and he definitely didn't seem to have an injury.

Stop thinking Star Trek. It's a parody of episodic TV, sci-fi tropes. Not knowing why someone is wearing a certain color shirt or says a certain line will not detract from it being funny.

boooo.....jk My horse lost fair and square. As sequels go this one isnt tht bad. Trillogys tend to be well-rounded. But there will probs be a john wick 4 just for the money grab. Thats the problem with artforms that are expensive to make like the film is. the burden of profitability.

This was in response to her intro about how she wouldn't have ever watched Galaxy Quest or polled for it because everyone told her it's a "Star Trek parody." You don't need any Star Trek knowledge to watch this. The parody is of sci-fi tropes, there's no barrier to entry.

Except that "money grabs" are "money grabs" because the movies usually suck when they do not carry the vision of the original creators and the studios forcing the sequels don't care. That's not the case with the John Wick franchise. Same dedicated group of action/stunt loving creators telling a long form story about the universe they created. Also, to make a lot of money. So, ok, a money grab, too. But, you know, with integrity or something.

It is indeed very intense and at certain points I think it would horrify her but, I think she may enjoy it because its a great story about a man changing for the better and working towards a better life.

Can't see more that 40 comments, so sorry for any redundancy: - Dog rescued from the 1st movie was scheduled to be destroyed. - While Ares (Ruby Rose) died, Cassian DID NOT die. you were talking over john saying that the knife was in his aorta and that IF he pulled it out he would die. - "as a professional courtesy" (same as the bowery king's throat slit, 2 scenes later) Watch 3, cause More Dogs, +Halle Berry, you'll love it, then watch "CinimaWins" review has he has an awesome request during. Sorry for plug, but as much as I love watching you experience my favorite movies for the first time in full, and then again on youtube because you catch so much on the 1st go, The CinimaWins review meticulously breaks down minute things i missed, and amplifies what i love so much about my favorites. Thank you for your work, your efforts are appreciated.
