HELLO FRIENDS ON PATREON!!!

Hope you've all been having a great start to 2022! I'm so happy to be back here making videos! 

Of course, I would've loved to kick off the new year here with a totally NEW movie, but it just felt wrong to watch anything else before this cut of Days of Future Past. So this week, you'll be getting spoiled with 3 movies!! I just feel like the Rogue Cut doesn't really count as a full movie since we just watched DoFP, so I wanted to give you something extra :) 

I've listed the schedule below for this week. In future weeks, we'll be doing just two movies per week for the most part, but for now I hope you all enjoy the extra content.

I can't wait for you to get to Apocalypse! Although make no mistake the movie did not due justice to that mutant, he is MUCH more powerful in the comics, and is connected to the Eternals and Celestials. BTW Eternals is streaming on Disney+ this week!

I've heard it's actually pretty decent, but it's still a kids' show and not really one I'd pick for someone who has missed out on lots of classic movies and shows.

Hey Nat! Quick answer to your question about magneto and Pietro's conversation, yes it was a nod to Wanda and Pietro's father being Magneto, which is true in some of the comics.

Two of the congressmen are X-Men creators: Chris Claremont who wrote the original Days of Future Past comic and wrote the X-Men seventeen years and Len Wein co-creator of Wolverine, Storm, Colossus and Nightcrawler.

So excited that we're finally getting to ATLA! It does take a few episodes to really get going but there's a reason it's the highest rated animated show of all time and has been for so many years - The amount of character development, loveable characters, details to plot and so on is unmatched even by most live-action shows

Thanks so much for watching the Rogue cut! It isnt as different as I sold it I guess, rewatching it a little more objectively it is just a couple scenes and a subplot, but it is the superior version and I'm glad you watched it at all.

I enjoy the marvel and x men content, I'm not in to the series reactions as much, I skipped Ted lasso and Chernobyl lol did enjoy squid game 😁Hopefully sometime this year you can get into Mafia/mob movies, those are popular reactions i.e. the godfather, Scarface, Goodfellas etc just a thought 😁 also cobra Kai would be a fun series to get into, great writing on that show 👍

Does anyone know when Nat will be watching Hawkeye?? I was really looking forward to her watching that show but it wasn't mentioned and doesn't appear in the schedule. Instead we are getting 4 episodes of ATLA a week...

There is a short mid credit not in the theatrical cut featuring Trask in prison.

The thing with Colossus and the portals at the last stand is a force multiplier.. Think of the difference between kicking someone in the chest, and jumping from the roof of the empire state building and landing feet first on that same person at sidewalk level..

This is the problem with Arcane. It's a phenomenal show but unfortunately, not many people have seen it or want to see it, dismissing it as just another one of those bad video game adaptations...

Some of the characters in this movie are from a show called "The Gifted", its a pretty short show. The Gifted also has loose ties to the movie Logan, maybe you could add it to your X-Men watch list.

I'm realizing I've never seen the Rogue Cut. Streaming services just show you the theatrical cut. It does help the story but the movie does drag on a little more. But it's nice they gave Anna Paquin something to do with her power. Even if Kitty's time travel power seems a little advanced for someone to just step in and take over.

Right after Apocalypse, most likely, since she's been sticking to the release order. Followed by Deadpool 2 then Dark Phoenix. (Then possibly New Mutants, and I guess Legion somewhere in there, though those are ambiguously off-continuity and I don't know if there's interest.)

Honestly, Nat, after this you should only watch Logan. Just let this be the end of the X-Men movies. Don’t watch the final two. They seemingly fixed everything with the previous movies in DoFP, but then spoiled it with Apocalypse and Phoenix.

There actually WAS another NEW post credits scene with Peter Dinklage - but super quick and easy to miss

These movies didn’t really utilize the post credit material as much as the MCU films did. The apocalypse scene was the more salient of the two.

I don't know if it was deliberate, but this is tagged as a pool rather than X-Men, may want to change that so people can find it in the future!
