Slowly but surely, I can see Nat getting invested in the family and caring for them. I cannot wait until the end of the series when she's just an emotional mess and all the scary stuff is shoved to the background lol

Sebastian Syrinx

If you think the cinematography and editing is good now, just wait til episode 6. I'm not overstating anything when I say that episode 6 may be one of the best episodes of television ever

Rick Runge

You gotta atleast watch the last 2 episodes in the evening time.

Darryl Low

Loving your thumbnail today Nat, and you're always so welcoming to those ghosts, waving at them all the time 😊 You're definitely the Hype Girl for this show, building up the tension. It still raises the hairs on the back of your neck, even watching in the afternoon. And I know it drives you nuts, but the constant lighting changes strangely add to your reaction Nat, and are just perfect for this show. The lighting at the start of your outro was just so good. Really enjoying watching this show through again with you Nat. Thanks for your video today. Stay spooky 👻💛

Randee Carreno

Happy Wednesday, Natalie! 😊 And Happy Belated Birthday!!! 🎂🥂 I'm downloading this right now so that I can watch it later tonight. The next 3 episodes are my favorites. Looking forward to watching the reaction this evening. Have a great day today! 😊 Until the next video, Stay Golden! 💛

Calo Grsf

Hi Nat and Happy Scary Reaction Day! Thanks for your new great reaction 😄! You shine so brightly that you dazzle us hahaha It's a really well done, episode and serie til now. Each time we have a new perspective on another character, and the transitions are really cool I agree. But I love how they did the story of the little girl, it was a good idea, I really thought at first there was a ghost haha Your panic moments are so funny, you remind me of Dr. Strange waving your hands around 😆 I hope you're fine, take care, be safe and stay golden! 💛

Sean

You know, Nat, the best way to prevent natural sunlight from bleaching your video is filming at night. :)

Cody Steele

This show plays to my childhood fear of ghosts so well. It's so good that Nat is going to see this one through. Also: yeah, this episode will surely stick with you for a night or two. Lights on!

Navjot Singh

Btw unrelated, Black Widow is available for free on Disney+ now. :D

Ian

Happy Wednesday nat hope you had a lovely birthday 🎂 episode 3 yes the dumb waiter and Mr smillie if I'm not mistaken really liked this episode I'm expecting jump scares a plenty and some freaking out lol but all in good fun so let's begin 💛

Niklas

Yes, would love to see the Black Widow reaction. :)

Simon Bauer

You could do auto iso on your camera? 0.0

Everyone likes to praise episode 6 as being the best, and I agree that the cinematography of 6 is just... genius... but this episode is my favorite of the series mostly because Theo is my favorite character. I feel like this episode is the one that really starts to draw you in on the emotional side while Steve and Shirley's episodes relied more on the scare aspect of it. So episode 4 tomorrow which means 5 and 6 next week? Whooo next week is gonna be a thing. lol. I can't wait.

Jayson Phillips

The guy confessed to the cops.

Wu Sha Ling

even if you're physically resisting, the show is really worth it. and i'm not even a horror guy. storytelling gets better with each episode. Nelly's episode is my personal favorite

Lee Gannon

Episodes five and six are my favourite two episodes.

Jomero

That's why I love this show. It has the scares, yes. But it also has the heart.

Daniel Casillas

When Theo opens the basement door there’s a face behind the ladder and that shit scared the fuck out of me

Vidcutter

Spot on with the cinematography holding on the wide shots uncomfortably long. Those shots are very deliberate, and I think in an interview one of the show runners was saying they would use those shots to make you feel like something is SUPPOSED to be there, to force the viewer to experience the dread of knowing something's wrong but not knowing what. Some times, there will be things in the shot that don't move, so your eye doesn't go to them, but subconsciously you're aware of it. After a while, you'll find yourself "inspecting" such shots, looking for something but not sure what it is -- which is exactly what each character is doing the whole show.

Obie Brown

The best is yet to come, can't wait!

Ben Wheeler

I keep forgetting to watch for background ghosts, but I caught two in this ep.

Thomas Yanez

I've re-watched this show a couple of times on my own, and maybe a dozen times with reactors, and I still keep forgetting to look for the hidden ghosts because I get distracted by the damned story.

Julia

I am so glad you're starting to like this!! This show terrified me at first but once you're invested it is so so much more than a horror show. The characters are so thought out and intricate, as is the whole idea of Hill House. I know you're scared but I promise there is SO MUCH MORE than scary scenes in this show :')

Jasmine Lambert

yup every sibling has an episode focusing on them, and the parents too later. fun fact, each sibling represents one of the 5 stages of grief which is really cool once you piece all of their stories together and how those themes affect their lives. can't wait til you get to episode 5 and beyond that's when things really get good, and hopefully you learn soon that this show will make you cry more than it will make you jump!!

Joe Blankenship

It's funny, you're usually more scared that something might happen than when something actually does happen.

Byron

This is probably one of the more devastating episodes across most shows I’ve seen. The fact that so much is left to your imagination is so effective. I adore Theo, her grit, her empathy, and the fact that she doesn’t give a shit about the small stuff.

Byron

That’s what makes the show so effective. Uncertainty is soooooo much scarier.

This_Jedi_crafts

Someone may have already mentioned it but the actress who plays Theodora stars in a movie called "HUSH" - she plays a deaf writer away writing - it might be a great NatMare pick - scary and SUPER suspenseful but not as scary as. this ghost story series (to me). Just throwing that out there.

Jim

Hey Nat, maybe if you tried filming this at night maybe you wont have lighting issue ? just saying *evil grin*

Matthew Periolat

I was ready to quit after being traumatized by the second episode (I love my cats, so really horrific stuff), but wow, what a redemption. I’m trying to figure out only why Theo is my favorite character suddenly and the character I relate to the most. So far, best episode. And it’s bought me an episode 4. See where it goes from here. Still Golden.

Ethan Plumer

The actor who plays Theo, apart from being drop dead gorgeous, absolutely kills this role! Each scene of hers is better than the last, especially in this episode; one of my all-time favorite performances.

Zack Wallace

Prisoners is a movie that you should watch at some point, Nat.

Ethan Plumer

Wow! I never noticed that before! I had to go back and see what you were talking about and I had to run through that seen twice before I saw it.

Fuzzy Dunlop

Natalie shaking her hand in front of her face when she is expecting a scare is absolute Gold.

Zack Wallace

Bro, your name is fantastic. I am doing my second watch of The Wire. Started it when Michael K. Williams moved on.

Michael G. Munz

I hardly ever catch them. I can only think of two that I've ever noticed in this show, and one of them was in this ep. Maybe I just don't have The Sight? lol

Fuzzy Dunlop

Good man. I lived in Bmore throughout the filming of the series. Got to have a cold domestic with Herc, and shared some gym equipment with Lt. Daniels. Greatest show ever made.

Thomas Yanez

In the scene with the transition from young Theo in bed to adult Theo in bed, Nat's reaction was great. The roller coaster from over-anticipating something scary happening with young Theo in bed, then calming down and telling us how she feels better when they switch to the adult stories, and then her panic when she realizes that adult Theo is where the scary part was going to be... priceless.

Zack Wallace

Wow. That’s incredible. I really want to visit and see some of the sights and eat the food that is on the show. Maybe one day. Just finished season four. Think that may be my favorite season.

Keith Jacobsen

It's crazy you can survive with the surface of the Sun just 50 yards outside your window. Hahaha! Love your content, stay golden.

—thoughtstorms—Keith—

Yeah. For every actual jump scare, our dear Natalie is jumping scared at least thrice. (C8 Her nerves are entertaining to watch, but only now that we've seen her seem perfectly fine after an ordeal. I truly don't want Natalie to take the scary too far. Watch comedies and dramas and leave the terrors for other reactors, Nat!

Cory Silver

It's been driving me crazy where I knew Nell from. She's "Love" from "YOU". I don't think the parents did anything different to get the dumbwaiter to come back up, there were only two buttons. I think it was like the monster was willing it not to work. Or the electric was loose. I like that there's ambiguity.
