Andy Jordan

So looking forward to this one. I'll never forget seeing this at the theater for the first time, and how we all collectively felt at the end. Thanks, as always, for all you do and making our days a little brighter. Cheers, Nat!

Anonymous

Three minutes and already ten comments. I clearly am not the only one who's been on the edge of my seat for this one = P. I got my popcorn, and my tissues; let's go = D

Anonymous

Is it Tuesday already!!!!?!?!?!?

Ian

Anonymous

It's finally heeeere! Btw, I don't know how anyone else feels, but I personally don't care about the lighting at all. As long as you're visible, you're totally fine, so no worries.

This_Jedi_crafts

Have been SO excited for this - can't wait until the work day is over so I can settle in with popcorn and focus and enjoy Nat's reaction! Whoot Whoot!

If anyone spoils this for her may they step on a hidden Lego every morning for a year.

Anonymous

What the actual Eff?! Jk. Wish I could watch rn but I work overnight and need a few shut eye hrs😥 Okay you win, maybe just half🤗

BiggerBee

Ya, the theatre experience was something else. Don’t think I’ve felt such a thing before or since that from a theatre experience

R.BGames37

Well.. if Quil did not be so dang stupid, and let his Emotions over Gamora in check. Nothing of this would have happend.. and im excited for Endgame.

Anonymous

Oh man, can't wait to watch!

Anonymous

I think this is a good time to suggest something for when you watch Endgame. Please keep watching the end credits for that movie. I'm not gonna say any spoilers but they're real nice and worth paying attention to.

Anonymous

Oh boiii, here we go again.

R.BGames37

Days can go slow, Days can go fast.. but just as you are, im excitedly waiting Nat"s post ever single week.. (MCU, and G.o.T).

Anonymous

This will be a great way to enjoy the holiday today.

TrackHoodie

SO it wasn't marvel Monday and instead we get Tearful TUesday ;P

Aaron Lovik

I have to believe that it still would, otherwise Dr Strange would have done something to stop it. He saw the only way to win.

Anonymous

Can’t wait to watch!

Anonymous

I subscribed just to see this reaction! I was waiting for this!

swoop_13-37

Nat "I'm still not over Loki guys." Me "It Starts"

Jomero

MCU Thanos really opened my eyes as to what can make a great villain when it comes to storytelling. His goal is not self-serving and he has no intention to rule or gain power. His ultimate goal is to ensure all mouths are fed. His methods of doing so are highly questionable, but his intentions are good and selfless. As a storyteller for my group of friends (Dungeons and Dragons) his character really made me rethink how to approach creating villains. I don't know if we'll ever see a villain as good or as complex as him in the MCU. Note: I say "MCU Thanos" specifically, because in the comics Thanos was in love with Lady Death and his whole reason for...doing what he did... was to essentially impress her.

Andrew Dickinson

"I don't think a lot will be resolved in this one, as there is a second film" I bet that changes in the first 5 minutes.

Andy Crawley

Yeah! Cannot wait to see your reaction to this!

Anonymous

I’m right there with ya bud. I’m having a bit of a dilemma over the whole thing!! Lol

Christopher Boscarino

Between this and Bladerunner, it's going to be a good week for Patreon people. :)

Tay Schumaker

You can skip Agents of Shield. After Endgame go straight to Far From Home and then into the 2 series. By that time Loki will be out too.

cartoonrobot

Um, the title card reaction was a bit much. It was meant to be funny. "SPACE". Yes, we know we're in space, that's why it's funny to say it as if we needed it.

Anonymous

Oh geeze here we go, this should be fun.

Anonymous

So hyped to see your reaction! Also, just fyi, the only MCU shows you are behind on are WandaVision and Falcon and the Winter Soldier. Agents of Shield, albeit a great show, was confirmed to not really be canon in the MCU so you don't have to worry about watching it anytime soon if you don't want to.

Anonymous

About the big bold text with the locations, that's kind of a trademark from the Russo Brothers. It's not that much treating the audiences as if they were idiots, but more like a stylistic approach.

codenamewitch xx

Agree!! And they also are better for the theater experience because they give a spare moment for the audience to get excited for what’s happening and to let out some cheers during the transition rather than during the start of the dialogue in a new scene

Anonymous

when infinity war day coincides with 420, life is good

Anonymous

here’s a big kicker: James Gunn confirmed that when Groot disappears, he’s calling out “Dad” to Rocket before vanishing

cartoonrobot

Your editor needs to do a "Stupid" count. I lost track of how many times you said it about the time that they were getting the reality stone from the collector.

Tay Schumaker

You need to realize a lot of people saw this with no knowledge of the previous movies, kind of like you did with the first Avengers. Not every person knows every location. And the names got a lot of audience pops. Have no idea why them putting the name of the location they are at bothers you so much. Meanwhile you’re talking over big emotional and story beats and then later complaining you don’t understand.

cartoonrobot

I like the title cards. And let's be honest, you do spend a lot of time lost or missing things or not knowing what's going on, so at least knowing where it's happening is information some of us want. They travel to several countries, several planets... I like to know where things are happening.

Rime Pendragon

The big location notifications are part of the style of MCU movies, I like it.

cartoonrobot

And Thor keeps calling him a rabbit, because he is from a different planet. Rocket is an alien that looks kind of like a raccoon. Thor's not real up on Earth rodent s, and rocket isn't one. He's not even a raccoon, we just call him that because that's kind of what he looks like. He calls him a rabbit because he doesn't know what he is. And Thor probably doesn't know what a fox is either. Aliens. People from different planets. Different species. If you encountered some kind of alien on four legs, you might call it a dog, that doesn't mean that's what it is. And because it's funny.

Dave A

Now you have two mediocre movies before the capstone of one of the greatest achievements in film. I really don't think saying that is an exaggeration. Over 20 films capped off by Endgame is something no one else has ever done. Even Star Wars was only 9 movies, and that ended like a wet fart compared to Endgame.

Lucky Dragon ‘She.They’

Please don't bother with Agents of Sheild. It will just end up confusing you because it isn’t truly canon. It will pretend like it is at first but it will eventually drop that pretense. The only MCU shows that you need to worry about are the ones coming out on Disney+ now.

Armchair Wizard

Nat...you gotta get over the big text thing. You're the only person I've ever seen complain about it. That said, good reaction. Loving it.

Sebastian Syrinx

I'm surprised you get so annoyed at spoonfed information when you also happen to miss a lot of important info when it's not spoonfed

Sebastian Syrinx

The "SPACE" title was literally a joke one too, just so people would get extremely hyped for the Guardians. And they did. As soon as the space card popped up my entire theater cheered

LegacyFilms

when groot is dying, the “i am groot” that he says to rocket translates to “dad”. the directors have confirmed this.

BNJ

I'm so amused with how triggered she gets by the location texts when they come up on screen LOL

Anonymous

I’ve been waiting for this day for so long! I have a feeling this thumbnail is deceiving and she doesn’t end the movie this excited?

Ron K

I agree with the above comments about agents of shield. There's good stuff in it, it does reference things from the movies early on but would probably be more confusing than anything else. Agent Carter would be a good one though. Only two seasons and Hayley Atwell is as always awesome.

Edwin Bertilsson

I agree with Thanos' message about overpopulation, I just don't agree with killing people. Nebulas' brain is not a computer, she's just VERY modified.

Anonymous

The next two films aren't the greatest, but they kind of are important to the plot of Endgame.

Byron

Imagine having to wait a year for Endgame.

Valar Dohaeris

"Now we are in the end game"

Sebastian Serafin

hulk dont wanted to go out because he was scared to fight because thanos beat him in thi fight completly. and i really felt your pane for real

BNJ

she really does miss a lot of exposition and plot points. I get part of doing these types of videos is to "react" but it does get a bit frustrating when the reactor misses key scenes because they're talking over them. Regardless, I really enjoy her viewpoints.

Anonymous

I was really not expecting you and Tony to have such similar reactions to everything. "Did he just say hitherto?" "I just want Peter to be safe!" *Exasperated sight any time the Guardians do or say anything.*

Anonymous

I'm having a hard time imagining having to wait three weeks

panacamanana

Again, don't forget Ant-Man and the Wasp and Captain Marvel before Endgame.

Anonymous

"All that for a drop of blood." Thanos (Infinity War) "If you can make God bleed, people will stop believing in him." Vanko (Iron Man 2)

Ian

When ebony maw that powerful guy torturing Dr strange said Ive never failed I think the expression you were think of Nat was " First time for everything" maybe? Should have done a tissue count on this one it was emotional that's for sure, wonder how full your bin got 😃💛

Anonymous

I don't think anyone was really ready for the last 10-15 minutes of this one. Here we were, after almost a decade of seeing the good guys win time after time, against all odds. Finally its the baddies turn. And boy, what a turn it was. Best movie in the MCU in my humble opinion

Steve J

Great great reaction. Imagine that reaction but you're in the theater with 300 other people having the exact same tears and cheers. I still get chills every time Steve steps out from behind the train and when Thor lands in Wakanda, and I've seen Infinity War probably 30 times.

Steve J

yeah, Agents of Shield is fine, but is squarely in the network TV genre. It's got some moments, but not worth wading through 120 episodes.

Anonymous

Natalie's hatred of Ebony Maw made this whole video for me. He needs to be re-named "Thanos's Hype Man". And Hugo Weaving was replaced as Red Skull because Marvel wouldn't pay him enough money. :)

Timten

Yeah she acts like she too smart sometimes which makes come across dumb lol

Anonymous

I love how you complain about the text, and that everyone already knows, but then you don't realise it's Red Skull until the closed captions tell you!

Anonymous

So many tears! I was right there with you sobbing! You should spend a few minutes speculating before you watch end game. We all were going crazy in the one year timespan we had to wait for end game, so many crazy theories. I'd love to hear what you think will happen before you watch end game.

Timten

Never seen anyone gives 2 shits about location cards.. let alone you almost ruining the reaction over them lol

Ian Forbes

Nat, if it helps, I always viewed the large title notifications as an homage to similar text notifications in comic books as locations would shift. While the “Space” tag was done for laughs, the others help film goers who may feel overwhelmed and need the info (MCU has always strived to ensure broadest appeal) and again, I think give a little comic book feel. Can’t wait for Endgame! Have so loved being on this journey with you and all the others here who appreciate your work.

Timten

Least we’ll know if she reads these comments based off if she puts the SPACE part in the YouTube video

Ben Wheeler

I had some xtra time on my hands and watched a YouTube video of “Bring me Thanos!” playing over and over in international theaters (mostly Indian I think) and Thor never fails to hype up the audience 😁

Anonymous

I was waiting for this one, and you didn't disappoint! So glad I got to experience it on Patreon. Just two more flicks to watch and then we get to do this all over again in Endgame :D I can't wait!

Anonymous

This was such a doozy to see in theaters. Lots of people who weren't familiar with the infinity stone story were as vocally shocked as you were at the end. People booed, kids were crying, people wanted their money back, it was a helluva ride. I'm excited for the conclusion in a few weeks time!

Randee Carreno

Here we go!!!! I knew that was going to be your reaction to Hemdal and Loki's deaths. Whenever I watch this movie on the dvr, I usually skip over that part. Gotta love Peter’s idea to save came from the movie "Aliens". LOL! Thor with the Guardians was so perfect! Love his team up with Rocket and now teenage Groot to get Thor’s new hammer. Loved your reaction to when Steve, Sam, and Natasha's arrival to help Wanda and Vision. I love ScarJo's blonde hair for this movie. If you love Steve’s beard in this movie, I highly recommend Chris Evans' movie "Gifted". He looks so good with his beard in that movie, plus it's a super sweet movie. Red Skull was recasted for this movie. Thor's arrival on Wakanda is one of my favorite scenes from this movie. You'll find out what happened to Valkyrie, Korg, and Meek during "Endgame". Fun Fact about one of the saddest scenes: Tom Holland improvised all of Peter's "I don't want to go" dialog. Also, Drax's funny "Why is Gamora" line was improvised. Up next: the amazing "Ant-Man and the Wasp". Have a great rest of the day! 😊 Until the next video, Stay Golden! 💛

Michael Cruse

Yeah, this one fucks you up. Nobody expected that ending - we're so used to the heroes finding a way to win, somehow, at the last possible minute. And this time, they didn't. In the movie theater, it was just stunned silence at the end. Driving home, my wife was like "That's it, I'm done, I'm never seeing another Marvel movie again." I talked her down from that ledge but it took some doing.

Aaron Lovik

Gotta bump this one to make sure she sees it. The beginning of the credits before it goes to the basic scrolling text is worth sitting through.

Calo Grsf

Thank you Nat for sharing this powerful reaction! You have clearly made my day 😄 Yes, Peter Dinklage was there, and Red Skull was recast for this movie I also agree with you, Starbucks sucks 😆 And trees are awesome! I'm lucky enough that my backyard looks like a little forest (my garden has a dozen of trees), and I hope you get one like that one day haha I hope you're ready for the next step, be safe and stay golden 💛

Anonymous

The theater at the end of this movie was DEAD SILENT except for some people sniffling and a few people way in the back going "what??" what a stark contrast to the cheers and claps of all the other marvel movies haha when we were walking out of the theater it was like we had all suffered a collective trauma because we had been attached to these characters and this story for 10 years at that point. never experienced anything like it in the theater what a rollercoaster!

Anonymous

I felt exactly the same way when I saw this in theaters. I was thinking “That’s it? That’s how it ends?” But no, I knew that couldn’t be it. Doctor Strange gave Thanos the Time Stone for a reason, not just to save Tony’s life. I know you’re feeling wrecked right now, but have faith that everything will work out for the best when Endgame comes up. In the meantime, enjoy Ant-Man and the Wasp...I think some Paul Rudd will be just what you need next week.

Anonymous

shouldn't she watch Ant Man & The Wasp & Captain Marvel First?

Ron K

When I saw this in the theater opening weekend, the only noises in the theater as the credits rolled was sniffling and someone sobbing uncontrollably behind me.

Baron

Thank You So much for this awesome reaction video, You did a really great job and all of your thoughts and comments are perfect, great timing. There was only one moment where I thought you talked over the movie and maybe missed a funny part with Thor and Groot. Am I the only person who kept thinking "Stache Lord" I know I kinda stole that from the TellTale Games based on Guardians Of The Galaxy but Stache Lord looks kinda funny with facial hair. Any way great job on this epic reaction, can you believe that this movie lost the Oscar for Digital Effects? The oscars really screwed up with that one.

Anonymous

Agreed. I prefer a villain with motivations I can understand but disagree with, and I really appreciate villains for whom the motivation isn’t just greed, thrill or bloodlust.

Anonymous

Hi from Czech Republic and thank you. I really enjoy watching all the movies and series with you. Please don't forget to watch Captain Marvel and Ant-Man and the Wasp movies before Avengers Endgame.

Anonymous

As far as the text updates showing locations, disney does not have faith in the intelligence of the audience.

Alan Kobb

Yes, that was Red Skull from the first Captain America movie. At the end of the movie in the airplane he tried to pick up the Tesseract, but no human can hold it. It consumed him and turned him into the keeper of the soul stone, doomed to forever wait for those who would throw away the thing hey love the most for power. In this movie he is played by Ross Marquand who is best known for The Walking Dead.

Anonymous

Love the pre-watch reveal that Nat is the little girl from "Signs" with all the glasses of water everywhere in the house, lol.

Jayson Phillips

HAHAHA MANTIS!!! DRAXXX...meh! lmao! Yeah this movie had me leaving the theatre destroyed emotionally! So excited to see the next one with you!

Anonymous

Don’t forget to watch Antman and The Wasp and Captain Marvel before Endgame!

Anonymous

ok nat... pay atention... you need to watch antman and the wasp and captain marvel BEFORE you watch endgame. Dont make the mistake to be so eager to watch the conclusion with Endgame

Choof

Everything I wanted and more, wish I could time travel 3 weeks to Endgame

It Hurt A Lot

This one exposes who you really care about haha. Drax, Mantis meh. Peter, Groot ouch

Anonymous

"I feel hella messed up". Oh yeah, that messed us all up the first time seeing it haha. It still does, my heart was still racing while watching that ending.

Anonymous

No spoiler here. I'm not sure why everyone was saying make separate videos for infinity war and endgame, they're completely separate movies and you have antman and the wasp and captain marvel next ayway, so it wouldn't make sense to do a single reaction video unless you watched those 2 movies in between as well. Antman and the wasp on Monday, then Captain marvel in 2 weeks, then endgame in 3 weeks, then spiderman: far from home the week after to close it out. Absolutely loved this video, I've been waiting so long to see your reaction and it was worth it lol

Steve J

I think she meant people were wanting IW pt 1 & 2, and then Endgame pt 1 & 2. Which also makes no sense unless in the YT edit there's just so much good stuff to pare down to 1 video each.

Anonymous

The ending hit a lot harder after watching WandaVision. Had a full tear drop down my cheek as she tried to destroy the stone.

Anonymous

Also, in regards to Valkyrie and other asgardians, it's not a spoiler either, but I believe you hear in the distress call in the beginning that some evacuations tooj place which might explain why you didn't see some people.

Albiezushi

"This is the worst movie ever." That rly made me 😆 💀

Darryl Low

Hey Nattie G. You probably weren't watching Discord in the last hour, but the excitement that was arising in anticipation of your Infinity War reaction dropping was palpable. Folks were saying it was akin to Christmas morning. This is what your videos mean to people. When you messaged at the weekend you weren't feeling too good, you also saw the outpouring of support for you. Everyone loves what you do, and appreciates all the hard work you put into your channels. I hope you are feeling recharged and more like yourself Nat. Love your new hairstyle. As always, thanks for this weeks videos. Really looking forward to them. 💛 Your reaction to this movie was so emotional and everybody was right there with you. Looking forward to watching the next 3 films with you.

Anthony Campbell

All I'll say about Endgame is......drinks lots of water before hand, cuz your going to be dehydrated from crying by the end of it

Anonymous

Yes, especially considering the fact that the serie was in parallele with all the movies; so a lot of season finales will already be spoiled

TheVenerate

Captain Marvel and Ant man 2 are next

Troy B.

I remember everyone in a packed theater just sitting silently (plus sniffles) through all the credits, and then when the lights came up, we all looked around at each other like "WTF, man." Also, I don't know how your recording schedule works, but if it were me I'd try to get Endgame in the can ASAP, even if you wait three weeks to post it (fitting Ant-Man & The Wasp and Captain Marvel in between, for reasons), because I think the odds of you making it the next three weeks without anyone spoiling bits of Endgame for you are remote. I mean, I *hope* you can, but within five hours of you posting this I've already seen two mild implied spoilers. (Which is nothing major, but considering that's just within the first five hours of a three-week period... and I'm sure it'll be worse on YouTube once you post that version. Again, I hope I'm wrong.)

Tay Schumaker

Good call, Agent Carter is good and short. AoS is just too many episodes for not being canon. The D+ series are much better and completely canon

Anonymous

I still remember the dead-ass silence of the theater and you could feel the audience's mind explose and broken hearts

Anonymous

It's hard to feel "recharged" after watching Infinity war tho xD

Anonymous

When I try to download the video in Google Drive, I'm getting a message saying "Access to doc-0k-3k-docs.googleusercontent.com was denied".

Anthony Campbell

and yes, that was a different actor playing Red Skull

Anonymous

The Spider-man death was talked about a bunch after Infinity Wars released, it hit everyone pretty hard. This is like the 4th time I've watched Infinity War and I still feel emotionally drained lol.

Anonymous

You're going to need a bigger box of tissues come Endgame, its all i am saying

Anonymous

It was a gut-punch for the comics fans too, since Spidey didn't blip in the comics.

Lisa Tosti

I highly recommend Levelor black out accordian blinds! I think this might solve both of your concerns! We have them in our bedroom and can raise them whenever we aren't sleeping and they are great quality!

john collins

yes, the one we've all been waiting for! it is time!

Lucky Dragon ‘She.They’

If there was any end credits scene that mattered it's the mid-credits scene in Ant-Man and the Wasp and to a lesser extent the mid-credits scene in Captain Marvel. But the Ant-Man one is imperative or you will be confused later. Just a heads up.

Anonymous

man! this movie is so good but still so hard to watch. But man do i love seeing others experience it for the first time. Thank you! The upside is that you dont gotta wait a whole year, LOL! UGH!!! now we gotta get through Ant Man 2 and Captain Marvel before Endgame... The wait is so intense!

Shen V

I patreon'd up for this reaction (and Endgame), and I couldn't be more satisfied. It's such a dense movie, and one of my favourites. One small unique thing that stood out for me was your reaction to the 'space dogs'. Most people just shrug off or hate the "generic CG alien army", but you took a minute to look at them and be disgusted and take them for the horrible things they are. Well done.

John

Missing Red Skull is an easy mistake to make. He was last seen 14 movies ago, where everyone assumed he died at the end, and they changed his voice actor from Hugo Weaving to Ross Marquand.

Stefan Johannsson

Great reaction. We were all a wreck at first after seeing this. My whole movie theater was sobbing at the end, lol. Kevin Feige & the Russo brothers were very bold in ending it this way. I think they took a bit of a cue from Star Wars 'Empire Strikes Back' kind of ending, except even more shocking. Kind of the 'Empire' of our generation.

Timo Paul

Great Reaktion. Now imagine you have to wait a year to see Endgame 🙈😄

Anonymous

Thanks for your reaction Nat! Sorry you had to cry so much. It moved me. It was like watching it again for the first time. I hope you can speed up to get to Avengers Endgame to get closure.

Darren Penuliar

Loved the reaction! Oh and Dr. Strange said "There was no other way" as in he had no other choice but to give up the Time Stone.

George Baxter

Is it ironic that Natalie constantly repeats her argument about not having title cards; the talking equivalent of blasting the location names in huge fonts?? I think the Directors use this technique as a staple but its a good way to fully establish the many locations in this movie for people who are struggling to follow. Its not like the fonts appear in every scene! Natalie as ever really connects to the characters but also objectively sees their issues; they must put their issues aside... Great reaction!

Anonymous

Man, I remember us stumbling out of the theater after this one, unable to process what the f*** we just witnessed. That was a formative experience in long-term storytelling.

navghtivs

Hope you didn't miss the reassuring line at the very end of credits: "Thanos will return"

Armchair Wizard

Jesus, this movie beat the crap out of me when I first saw it.

Anonymous

Seeing that in the theaters rocked my world. Hearing people gasp in the theater was wild and then just sitting in silence with everyone in shock. I sat in the car with my friends in silence for like 30 minutes before we drove to get food and then discussed everything. It's hard to get some people into the MCU, but it's so worth it to get to Infinity War for the reactions. Holy hell this is an amazing movie. Can't wait to see the rest of the reactions!

Cerra101

Imagine watching this in theaters. It was absolutely quiet the entire last 30 minutes. I felt completely drained. I hope you do the MCU shows for Marvel mondays (Agents of Shield is not a part of the MCU universe so it's technically not canon)

Steve J

from what I remember, they pretty much had free reign from Marvel to kill any character they felt they needed to for the sake of the storytelling. It really pays off when you suddenly realize none of the characters have any plot-armor like other superhero movies.

Scott Greene

BTW the distress call is made by Kenneth Branagh, the director of the first Thor movie!

Ghostwolf

I find agents of shield annoying as it sorts is part of the MCU or at least affected by it for the first 3 or 4 seasons then goes off on its own thing.

Frank Rosales

Two movies left till Endgame can't wait

Anonymous

two other movies before endgame.

FatLittleButterfly

Agents of Shield finale season is worth watching through all the highs and lows (:

Steven

As others said, Hugo Weaving was offered less money than what he was previously contracted for and declined to participate in Infinity War. So you were right, it was a different actor playing Red Skull.

Anonymous

When you get to Endgame, you may notice that those who have gone are also missing from the Marvel logo reveal at the beginning of the movie.

Opti_Frog

I'm glad you had such an emotional response to the events of this movie, because it's really easy to be cynical about the deaths not sticking since we know other movies with certain characters are coming. But that misses the point. Peter Parker doesn't know there's going to be another Spider-Man movie. He's just a kid dying on an alien planet, and that's heartbreaking.

Graht1

That was awesome. Make sure you watch the next Antman movie, and Captain Marvel, before you watch Endgame.

Opti_Frog

Ruining the reaction? Not even close, it was funny as hell. 😂

Ryu Kobushi

Yes! about to watch this, cant wait to see the feels!!!

Glenn Van Pestel

When the movie finished and the lights came back on, there was complete silence in the movie theater. I heard people silently crying (myself included) and I could hear faint wtf's and no's coming from everyone. I didn't say a word against my friend who was with me until we were in the car. This movie wrecked me. Also, Tom Holland will never fail to make me cry when Spider-Man dies.

Opti_Frog

"It's been said that it's not canon to the MCU." Then that someone needs a punch in the face. 🤣

Byron

There’s too much to scroll through here. Has anyone broke it to her that according to interviews, Groot was saying “Dad...” to Rocket when he was dissolving? 😭

Cory Stanish

"THIS CAN'T BE HOW THIS MOVIE STARTS!!" Oh man this one is gonna be rough.

Lisa Tosti

Okay just finished watching with you. It was so good to rewatch this because I have mostly rewatched endgame recently. I cried the hardest watching this movie with you with the exception of the first time I saw it in theaters. Its just such a powerful movie! So imagine if you will what you are feeling now but stretched out over a year because that's how long we had to wait for Endgame. I'm kind of envious you will only be waiting a few weeks after watching Ant Man and Captain Marvel. Can't wait for your next reactions!

Lisa Tosti

Same! I went to see it with a group of friends and we forgot to take a picture before so when the previews started we said we would take one after. Well that picture is both hysterical and sad because half of us are still crying and the other half have faces that say WTF?!

Anonymous

Spiderman can't die he's only child. Me: She didn't learn anything from watching Star Wars Revenge of the Sith.

Wow - another great reaction video....waited a long time and it was totally worth it to see someone else express the emotion that I thought only this nerd was capable of (being too attached to Marvel heroes, of course)!. But hey - we have so few heroes in real life - these movies just help fill that void. They bring us a sense of integrity and team work (for the goal of helping others). Whoot whoot!

Kevin Mowery

There's like 192 comments right now, so I'm not going to read through all of them, but just say and hope it hasn't been said a hundred times already: After Captain America Civil War, the Russos got so much ribbing over putting the big title cards on every location that they did it again in Infinity War and made the locations super-obvious (SPACE) as a joke on themselves.

Kevin Mowery

I've seen reactors from other countries, but still on Earth, think Rocket was a fox or a bear at first because raccoons are only native to North America.

L C

How do you put up with so many entitled 30 something year old children in your comment section?

Kevin Mowery

As far as MCU TV shows, Nat, if you're reading, due to backstage politics, most of the shows--all of them that aren't Disney+ shows--are of dubious canonicity. Agents of SHIELD starts off connected, stays that way for a couple of seasons, then ... who knows? Except for one thing from Agent Carter, none of the other shows have ever been referenced in the MCU. But the Disney+ shows are definitely canon, continuing the stories of characters from the movies.

acidnova

I hope you got some snuggles with Koda after this!

Doug Watson

You might know where Valkyrie is if you were paying attention to Thor: Ragnarok, but you weren't. :(

Jason Stanford

In the highest of compliments, I don't think watching that movie has hurt this much since the first time.

Joe Blankenship

Yep. Remember what Dr. Strange said. There’s only one possible outcome where we win, and we’re in the endgame now, and there was no other way. So, we’re gonna win. This movie is definitely a bummer but it’s fitting since comics kill people and bring them back all the time.

Koala Banana

That doesn't follow. Just because the snap had to happen and Tony had to live doesn't mean there's a 100% chance we'll win now.

Tranquil_Gnome

Great job, Nat. We all knew this was going to be a hard one for you. Sorry. ; ( Hope you feel better from your sickness and can recover from the movie.

Anonymous

Soooo, not sure if anyone else wrote this but you technically should watch Captain Marvel and then Ant Man and the Wasp before Endgame. They have taglines towards Endgame and came out before it. If you skip to Endgame it's not big deal but you might be a bit confused in the beginning.

Anonymous

This is going to be freaking huge on youtube... but I didn't say freaking.

David Crabtree

Look on the brightside, we still have the original Avengers team intact!

Daniel Luna

Just finished watching it along with you Nat! Great reactions through out the whole movie. I was there with you crying when Wanda was killing The Vision, Wanda is also my favorite MCU character so watching that scene on the IMAX killed me, great experience over all though. I can’t wait for you to watch endgame and I absolutely can’t wait for you to start watching Wandavision! Keep it up! great and funny reaction! :)

Dominique Cloet

I would love to have a little bit more of a conversation about the movie, talk about your favorite scenes and your theories about what could happen next for example. And I get that when it's just you, that might be a bit difficult. But 4 minutes after this movie just isn't enough. I'm still gonna watch Endgame full lenght, but after that I'll get off patreon. No hard feelings though.

Jon Hoover

We had to be messed up a year! She only has to wait 3 weeks at worse.

Anonymous

Natalie! I love these reactions. When posting this reaction to youtube please please please be careful with people spoiling. Some people are pretty ruthless. I also wouldn't really bother watching Agents of Shield. If anything I would watch Agent Carter and obviously the Disney+ series that are being released. Flows with the timeline!!! Im looking forward to more MARVEL reactions!

Kraps

Don't worry about the lighting it looked great! Dunno why everyone is so down on AoS, true it only references the MCU early on but it's a great show on its own. I would however leave it for when there are no other MCU stuff to watch, which might be a while.

William R Coughlan

Thanks do much for this. Heartbreaking to watch — seeing your reactions brought back so many of my own reactions when seeing it for the first time. (Do be careful reading any YouTube comments for this, since I do fear people may spoil things, and you really want to go in cold from here on out.)

Anonymous

Thanks Nat. Great to see it working on you the way it worked on me. Trivia: In the original cut of the film, Bruce Banner managed to get the Hulk to come out and beat up the big alien at the end. But in testing it felt wrong, having that moment of triumph before the final defeat. So they reshot that scene with Bruce winning using the armour.

Matthew Periolat

And now you know. Why, to this day, I take my Thanos vow of silence regarding Infinity War deathly seriously. Why, even now, I will not speak a word of the plot, the twists, nothing. Because I remember when I first saw this movie and thinking “This is how it felt seeing Empire Strikes Back in theaters.” The shock, the awe, the expectations for the future. And I refuse to ruin that experience for anyone at any time. I look forward to the next three weeks and the road ahead. Still Golden.

JPOlsen

Yeah, I really needed therapy after my first time watching this. I couldn't stop telling people to go see it while warning them of how intense it is.

John Graziano

10 demerits if you don't use the Thanos chin as your swear-guard.

Anonymous

Also, as a first time viewer, you can't dismiss the possibility of of those future movies being flashbacks or alternate realities. There is no guarantee that any one of those deaths are temporary or permanent.

Thomas Malley

I do like Ant-Man and The Wasp though, but it's definitely lower on the list.

Anonymous

As far as Valkyrie goes, you didn’t miss her. She went to WestWorld for a while...

Michael Labs

Oddly appropriate that it wasn't "Marvel Monday" this week... Thanos clearly owned Tuesday...

Marty McGee

I have to say that I can still remember the feeling of watching this in the theater and being absolutely wrecked at the ending. The whole theater was dead silent aside from a few gasps and sniffles watching everyone turning to dust. Even knowing beforehand there would be a sequel and this ending would most likely not be positive, I still wasn't prepared for it. Even after watching it half a dozen times now it still stings. Great reaction video! Funny moment: It had been since Civil War was in theaters that I had seen it. So when Tony pulled out the flip phone, I was like what the hell is Tony Stark doing with a flip phone. I had to be reminded after the movie by a friend of the Civil War ending. My favorite moment was Thor's appearance in Wakanda and his big God of Thunder moment! 2 more movies now before we get to Endgame and the conclusion. Can't wait for Ant-Man & the Wasp.

Shadowcat

Except Agents of SHIELD is phenomenal (once it finds its feet near the end of season 1), so canon or not, it's still worth watching. Although she certainly could slot it in wherever, since there's no longer any issue regarding spoilers that would have happened if she'd watched certain episodes prior to certain movies.

Anonymous

So I won't say anything about Endgame for obvious reasons, except this because it's so pertinent to Infinity War as well: Infinity War is not really "an Avengers movie" -- it's Thanos' movie. Thanos is the protagonist of Infinity War, Thanos is the first character introduced and the character the movie ends on, Thanos is the only through-line between every side story and plot fork over three hours. Endgame though is THE Avengers movie. Real emphasis on the definite article here. It's the comic-est most comic book movie to ever comic book movie in the best way, and it really is a phenomenal conclusion to the "Avengers" story they started setting up in 2008. After everything that's happened up to this point getting through Infinity War is hard and getting through the time until Endgame is going to be -brutal- but Endgame pays it all off so well it's totally worth it.

Adrian

Her beef with text locations really amuses me. I believe the Russos started doing it as a troll.

Dcv50

Imagine having to wait an entire year for the sequel! Also, extra depressing, James Gunn verified that teen wage groot is actually Groot’s

Dcv50

Kid since he’s technically an offshoot of groot.

Dcv50

So Gunn tweeted that when teenage Groot is “dusting” he’s saying “dad?” to Rocket.

Anonymous

hate to break it too you. Ant Man and the Wasp is next followed by Captain Marvel, Then EndGame.

Aaron Taft

I know I had all my tasks moved to Monday and took the day off, to watch this and get everything accomplished. I'm not mad, it was better after a rough day at work today. But I knew this one was next. ... Maybe Nat was too depressed to edit in time.

Brandon Scott

It may be weird but her yelling at the text cards was honestly the funniest part of this reaction for me.

Aaron Taft

Yeah I also had an injury and , umm, can't do much but watch these videos. I was playing Skyrim, and took an arrow to the knee. You all know what I'm talking about; I mean! Who didn't take an Arrow to the knee in Skyrim. But yeah, I hope ya are feeling better too Nat

crawlie

I know there's a thematic element to the title cards, but part of me wonders if it's an accessibility thing too. Someone with hearing issues might not catch the music cues for where we're going next. Curious what others might think.

Gabriel Lozano, WLC

For me, I was familiar enough with the Infinity War comic series to know that Thanos would succeed. So I wasn't surprised that he won. In fact, I knew this was going to happen as soon as they introduced Thanos at the end of the first "Avengers" movie, so I had six years to prepare for this moment.

Dan Careaga

Such a great reaction, Thanks! I forgot how ruthless this film is. I remember in the theater the feeling of sheer shock was palpable. Almost as if the audience wasn't sure if they could accept the what the film had done. Dead silence except for muffled crying. If you need a good laugh to lighten the vibe after this film look up pictures of Josh Brolin on set for Infinity War. The outfit and the table he had to stand on at times! Really fun to see how it was done and brings new dimension to Thanos. As for Agents of Shield, it is an o.k. show but completely unnecessary with regard to the MCU. As many have said above it isn't canon and in my opinion not worth watching given the sheer number of episodes.

Misty Crom

First off... You've said a number of times throughout the Marvel Mondays about the location titles on-screen and I keep meaning to respond to it, but, clearly, keep forgetting by the time I'm commenting here. But they're done as they are because it's kind of how they inform of locations in the comics, so it adds to the comic-book feel. Also, both Drax's "I'll do YOU one better; WHY is Gamora?" and Peter's whole "I don't wanna go" thing were improvised by the actors; though in the latter case Tom was told to just say something, but not what or how.

John Graziano

You really miss the theater experience when watching these at home. The large location cards are a Russo Bros thing they started in Civil War. In that movie, they set up the QUEENS reveal when the whole audience erupted in cheers knowing that Peter Parker was about to show up. In Infinity War, the entire theater erupted in laughter when the SPACE location flashed on screen. It was such a Guardians thing to do.

Anonymous

"I feel fucked up." Heheheh

Anonymous

They didn't do a great job of explaining what happened with the Asgardians. Thor has a throwaway line that "Thanos killed half of my people." We don't know what happened to Valkyrie, but Thanos didn't kill everyone on the ship. Just half, as he did with all the planets he conquered.

Anonymous

The months of build up watching you watch these and getting here to this was so worth it. I cannot wait for the the next movies and eventually Endgame.

Tom Fehr

great reaction. the dusted will be missed :( cant wait for endgame tho!

Nathan Churchill

This concept humans have called "fair" isn't a thing. Ever. 👽

Loneavenger96

I vote knock out Captain marvel next Monday and Ant-Man Tuesday. Endgame!!!!🥳

Anonymous

Imagine waiting an entire year for Endgame with only Ant-Man/Wasp & Cpt. Marvel to sate your appetite......

Anonymous

Best Dad moments in the MCU - Cap: Winter Soldier and hearing my son gasp with recognition at the full face reveal of the Winter Soldier. | Infinity War (in the quiet shock of the theater) realizing my son has his knees to his chest weeping when the lights came on. "Awww buddy" | Infinity War tonight and his excited smile & empathetic "awwww" when Nat says "I hope nothing happens to Peter"

Niknok Seyer

Ant-Man and Wasp next, then Captain Marvel, then Endgame! :D

Martin Firth

I think Natalie takes for granted that she watches with subtitles therefore has already seen he names in print when the title cards appear.

Yani Dodge

Yes!! I can't believe you're already through Infinity War! I do love that you're able to go through all of these without seeing trailers beforehand. I loved watching with you and can't wait for the next ones! Also, I know it could reeeally hurt, but this one is definitely worth a re-watch just to appreciate all the lines and details. Stay golden and spoiler free!

thescourge

Awesome reaction Nat! It’s amazing how these so-called “not cinema” movies can have so much emotional power right?! I think you may need some therapy sessions for those big word overlays though.

Anonymous

The scene on Titan is even worse when you remember Tony's nightmare from Age of Ultron where all of his friends died and he was left alone

Logan Kerlee

You aren't alone in feeling sad and devastated. Nearly everyone that watched this in theatres was in tears at the end of the movie. I'm not ashamed to say that I broke down in tears multiple times throughout. I'm really looking forward to you watching Endgame. That'll be an experience, I promise. I hope that everyone n the comments holds back from posting spoilers! I know that we're good here, but on YouTube I'm not even half as certain. xD The series will continue and the final climax in Endgame will be well worth the wait and the emotional trip that it's put you on, I promise. Be well, you rock! :)

Anonymous

I remember watching this in the theater and driving home completely devastated. I needed to see the next movie and get some kind of resolution but had to wait a whole year. I was pretty pissed off at Marvel for days afterwards. It's a sign of how strong and well executed a movie is when you leave it hating it at a gut level and needing so badly to see the next one. Well done Marvel.

Anonymous

Nat, you really have to do something about that window if you want to keep doing your reactions in the morning. It looks like with the light in your eyes you can't properly see what's happening during darker scenes. Like Red Skull on Vormir or Thanos face after he killed Gamora. I feel like good movies like this one deserve better. Otherwise great reaction as always.

DaMarkiM

always loved the way they characterized thanos. He obviously is a madman, but he also has strong principles that might have been admirable in another man. He never ever lies or breaks a deal. He shows admiration for his enemies, not because of their strength, but because of their determination (especially tony stark and peter quill). The way he sits down on the stairs after gamora tells him she hates his throne. He was hyped up for years as this powerful shadowy figure in the background. But im glad they also managed to give him a personality.

Anonymous

It's such a treat to watch this along with Nat. The movie itself is almost too much for her (and myself everytime) to take.

Choof

Her fate isn't known until Endgame. Where she is in relation to Thanos's attack wasn't revealed in Ragnarok.

Pleng Rapeepat

next week marvel monday or tuesday?

Ben Gilshenan

natalie should wait a year for endgame like the rest of us had to do lol

Byron

Noooooooooooo! I mean, I was thinking the same thing, but I don't want to wait that long (yes, I know you're joking... just playing along with the bit) :)

Byron

At least Tom Holland isn't on her Patreon. (hee hee)

Steve J

yup. A few people mentioned the blackout Levelor blinds. I use them in my home theater room and they look great/work great and probably work with whatever already there (I have mine mounted inside the windows frame)

Byron

Totally agree. Real villains don't think of themselves as villains. I love how fully fleshed out they made him.

Anonymous

You held it together better than I thought. End game will be fun.

swoop_13-37

God in the theater you could hear a pin drop opening day at the end. And during the credits there was stone cold silence.

Robert Reichle

So much fun watching this reaction (and pretty much all of your reactions). I would like to say though that you don't have to worry so much about lighting. If it changes during the video, I don't think it matters to hardly anyone out here in Patreon land. I could be wrong, but I'm thinking a poll would show the vast majority would either not really notice or not really care if the light changes. It's ok to relax about that. :) It's all good.

Anouar

She missed the part when Thor reveals he can speak the language Groot, back when they were talking on the ship pod.

Travis Field

The place names on-screen acted as basically a cue for the audience to start cheering. On streaming, I agree that ones like the Wakanda bold text are unnecessary, but the one that said just straight-up 'SPACE' is still really funny.

Kyle Baker

So I watch some other reactors, and I'm going to just tell you, those titles are VERY necessary.

Vincent Valentin

its not Marvel doing those titles so much as just the Russo brothers if my memory serves me right. personally i like them.

Robert Rivers

Think of all those people that had to wait an entire year for the conclusion. You only have to wait three weeks 😀

Robb Hollen

Haven't checked all the comments, so apologies if someone has already said this, but regarding all the cups of water sitting around, you should totally watch Signs by M. Night Shyamalan.

Anonymous

I'm glad I'm not the only "Stay Golden" Faithful who were annoyed at Nat getting annoyed at the location cards. We love you Nat we really do but the MCU style is consistent. You gotta remember you're basically watching a comic book come to life on the big screen so like when you're reading some comic books after turning the page (changing scenes) you're told where you now are if it's a new location you haven't come across yet in this particular edition (movie). It also makes sense if you're like most people who saw these when they were released and were years between watching the movies and couldn't immediately place the location without the card reminding us because you hadn't been there in a while....even the diehards. That being said, I think we all can agree that we thoroughly enjoy your reactions, otherwise why would we be here? Can't wait to watch you finish the Infinity Saga journey!

—thoughtstorms—Keith—

Agreed, although Natalie shielding her eyes to see the film was undesirable. Maybe you can take apart a big box and temporarily hang the cardboard ... or a blanket or two.....

Aaron Taft

I'm watching your reaction to this again tonight. LOVE IT!!

—thoughtstorms—Keith—

That's a very good point. Natalie only fully grokked Red Skull because of the closed captions attribution. When i REwatch a film, i turn on the Descriptive Audio in case i missed significant details. Both of those assistive services can be spoilery. I also think that the big Titles are resonant to the details in actual comic book pages......

Anonymous

If nobody has already said this let me be the first to say that Natalie, Please PLEASE don't start watching "Agents of shield" it is not I repeat is not Canon to the MCU only the disney+ series are connected to the movies 😁😁😁

Al Baughman

Agents of Shield is awesome! Forget what Alex says above me :)

Drew

I have no idea why the text that shows up bothers you so much, I think it's a cool stylistic choice.

DougRaw

The hate of the location text is really funny. I'm 100% ok with you hating it but if the reason you brought up a couple of times is the primary reason you hate it, that its spoon feeding the audience, you should know that it's definitely not done for that purpose at all. I mean the first location text was 'Space' lol. But others have mentioned why it's done so I won't repeat. Great reaction yet again, thanks!

Logan Sandoval

Now imagine waiting an ENTIRE YEAR until the next movie T.T

Anonymous

Ooo... so close to Spider-Man: Far From Home! ;P

Kris Webb

At least we saw Ant-Man and the Wasp and Captain Marvel inbetween.

Ellis Hugh

I don't see how anyone would willingly not watch Infinity War and Endgame back-to-back... if you're not going to watch Captain Marvel in chronological order, just hold off until after Endgame. As far as being almost done with the movies, yeah, Covid is going to give you a break, especially if you are waiting to watch the movies in video format rather than at the cinema... BUT, Marvel is about to start dropping 4-5 movies and 4-5 Disney+ series every year moving forward.

Ellis Hugh

One of the most under-rated parts of the movie - two of the most powerful beings on the planet (Wanda & Vision) are fighting the Ebon Order and getting their butts kicked... then Steve shows up, someone who doesn't hold a candle to any of them power-wise, and Wanda and Vision are still like 'oh, thank God...', because, you know - Captain America. Also, when Nat really gets into it and does her little (sorry, not little, she hates little) low growly YESSSSSS... that's just totally worth the price of admission right there.

joejud1017

Ross Marquand is this movie's Red Skull if it has not already been stated somewhere in the 319 comments before mine.

Anonymous

TOTALLY worth the wait :) Antman and Wasp, then Captain Marvel, then FINALLY ENDGAME!

Anonymous

Nat: This can't be how this movie starts! Me: Oh you better buckle the f*ck up, you're in for a wild ride!

Anonymous

This really brought back feeling the crushing ending in the movie theater. I remember walking out in that same bummed mood, in a daze. I thought we were gonna get Endgame next, but then I remembered there's two movies inbetween lol -.- Looking forward to it!

Anonymous

After you watch Endgame, please watch WandaVision it brought a tear to my eye. Also I love your hairstyle in this video.

Reece Hart

I was incredibly wrecked after watching this the first time. Then it was made worse because the night I saw it was also the season 5 finale of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Which at the time they didn't know if the show had been cancelled or not so it was written as a final episode for the show which as you'd imagine was written to be incredibly emotional. Those who specifically know what I mean don't spoil anything just in case Nat ever gets around to watching the show. Anyway Ant Man and the Wasp is next. Should be good fun

swoop_13-37

Worst part of this is the fallout. The casualties after. Famine, farmers, supply trains, power grids, nuclear plants, fuel, the aftermath had to have death tolls in the hundreds of millions after a few months. Thanos was a fool. And killed far more than half.

Anonymous

Can’t wait for you to get to the MCU series on Disney+. Just finished Falcon and the Winter Soldier and it was 🔥

Anonymous

I'm not saying it's not good lol I just mean it's not Canon to the rest of the MCU then again with covid holding allot of content back it might be a good idea😅

Anonymous

Do not watch Captain Marvel. All you need to know is shes in Endgame like 10 min and shes just an overpowered horrible hero. Just go to Endgame and if you want watch her movie. Itll be more satisfying

Anonymous

Nah, watch it. She's watched every movie so far, no point leaving any out. The hate against Captain Marvel is overblown anyway. It's nowhere near as bland as Thor 2 and not nearly as messy as Iron Man 2.

Anonymous

Oh man I can't wait for you to watch End Game. Please don't leave it too long!! :)

Anonymous

I literally signed up for Patreon just hoping to be able to see this full video! Amazing! Thank you for rekindling my love of these movies. Bring on endgame!

Lucifer Moon

I cannot wait for you to watch Captain Marvel it is one of my favorite marvel movies.

Meghan Renee

I signed up to watch the full reaction and because you started game of thrones too! I love your reactions! I can't wait to see you react to Endgame.

Eric Bogerd

Now, imagine that you had to wait for a full YEAR to see Endgame. Wow, can't wait to see you watch it.

Katherine Jennings

Aw, Mantis is my favourite character, you really cared more about that f*** up Quill dying than her and Drax?

Anonymous

I might be really stupid but how do you let patreon know I have a copy of the movie so I can actually see it. Ahaha.

Anonymous

you just need to sync your video in a separate tab or window and play it at the same time with Nats video. That's it really.

Anonymous

I remember the theater in complete silence. And the sobbing...

Oouga

"I don't see hope." Hmmm . . . Hope is in the Antman and Wasp movie.

Oouga

And, yes, that was Peter Dinklage but he wasn't playing a Giant. He was playing a Dwarf. Basically you might say an Asgardian Dwarf, but his race is not Asgardian.

Tingeling

My favourite part of the scenes with Strange and Stark is the fact that it's Sherlock v/s Sherlock. I know it has nothing to do with the MCU but it still adds a whole lot of fun meta depth for me. I remember when Downey's Sherlock movie came out and everyone I know (including myself) was convinced there would never be a better Sherlock, then Cumberbatch wandered in and was (IMHO) ten times better. It's two great actors, I love seeing them act opposite each other here, and their characters have a lot of similarities which makes it feel even more like Sherlock v/s Sherlock. Then there's also the fact that both their Watsons, Jude Law and Martin Freeman, are in the MCU. Btw, if you haven't seen Cumberbatch's Sherlock series you absolutely should for your channel! The first two seasons are phenomenal, the season two finale is one of my favourite episodes of any tv show ever.

Anonymous

Signed up just for this. Well worth it. Surprised you didn't do the small after credit bit though it's nothing huge per se.

Anonymous

Why is everything blurred out?

Kraps

You're supposed to watch with your own copy of the movie

Kelsey Logan

I am SO excited for you to see WandaVision if you love Wanda already. It's an amazing character study. Her and Vision are my absolute favorites and the show just made me love them even more, which I didn't think possible.

MichaelB

I am sure it has been said, but although called an Avengers film this really is Thanos film. The film has Thanos as the protagonist, and it is his journey to defeating the Avengers and winning. Ending with his happy ending exactly as he wanted retiring, and even a final credits text of "Thanos will return" - something which would normally be about the protagonists of the movie, not an antagonist.

Anonymous

The space location card was supposed to be a joke. Just like a comic book page that has "Meanwhile, somewhere out in the middle of space..." enter the guardians.

WalkingTaako

What I love most about Infinity War is how it is clearly set up as the Hero's Journey for Thor, right up the point of his apparent victory... when it turns out Thanos was the protagonist all along.

WalkingTaako

The guy playing Red Skull is a guy, Ross Marquand, who does a Hugo Weaving impersonation. He was also on The Walking Dead.

WalkingTaako

This is not an Endgame spoiler, this is what the directors have said in public after Infinity War but before Endgame: Everybody who was killed in the movie is definitively dead.

WalkingTaako

Also, the directors said before Endgame came out, after Infinity War, some of the Asgardians were able to escape before Thanos destroyed the ship. Not much detail other than that.

WalkingTaako

My girlfriend watched this not knowing that there would another movie in a year and was SO MAD AT ME

WalkingTaako

All of the "I am Groot" lines in the script have a translation so Vin Diesel can characterize them. Groot's last words in Infinity War to Rocket were "Dad..."

Dr. Poole

I saw the YouTube part 1 was out for this and when I saw the comments the entire commentary was available I knew I had to dip onto Patreon because this reaction was what I was waiting for ever since Natalie started this MCU rewatch. And I must say (not enjoying someone feel sad, not a masochist) but it was all I expected because I felt that wreck of emotions when I first saw it so I definitely feel that pain and upset feeling. Now I can't wait to see how she feels about Endgame cause so many emotions in that film after Infinity War but I will definitely check out Ant Man & Wasp & Captain marvel first watch when I can. Glad you're making it through, Natalie! Keep up all the good work!

FatLittleButterfly

oh! you gotta watch the blooper where boseman get interrupted by the goats xD

Anonymous

Dont watch Capt perfect. Waste of time and the made a joke of Nick Fury...marvels one and only mistake....i wouldve rather seen Black Widows movie first. Also not essential tonEndgame at all. It was a plot to get people to watch it cuz it wouldve stunk up the box office if released later. A character with no flaws, petfect all the time, powerful sll the time i cant relate too

ropecrewman36

Glad I'm not the only one who feels this way about that movie. I feel like it is a pointless movie because: A) It adds nothing to the overall MCU plot B) IMHO Wonder Woman did a FAR better job as a female empowerment movie two years prior. And I'm with you, Black Widow's movie should have been released a year before/after the first Avengers movie.

Anonymous

Hey Natalie, not criticizing your posts by ANY means, but you should totally do a like a 3second countdown before you start the movies. Like start t 0"00 and say "3...2...1... start!!!"

Anonymous

I still remember hearing only a few crying children in the theatre after this. The rest of us were floored.... and they made us live with that for a year.

Ellis Hugh

I thought all I wanted Nat to see was Infinity War/Endgame... but now, after her comments on this video and others, all I want her to see is WandaVision.

YodatheHobbit

Hello! Just joined your Patreon to see this film's, and the next few full length reactions because their are just so many emotional and good moment to want to see! Wooo!

Jason Usher

Wonderful reaction, You are not alone by crying a lot, I am 35 yr old and cry every time Peter say “I don’t want to go”, such a perfectly acted scene, This movie is a 10/10 for me

Just joined from Denmark. And I'm obviously not the only one who joined to see the full length reaction to this movie. ;) Have watched you react to all of the MCU movies on YouTube, however. You're a joy to watch. Thank you. :)

As a bit of explanation Heimdall chose to only send the Hulk away for a couple of reasons. First, Thor is the King of Asgard and his place was with his people, live or die, while the Hulk was from Earth and therefore under Thor's protection as a resident of one of the realms he is the protector of. Second if you remember in Thor: Ragnorak Thor and Heimdal can communicate mentally, though not explicitly shown most people who theorize agree that the look that passed between them was them doing just that, with only enough power to send one person away Thor had him send Hulk home.

RD

The text thing showing the locations is more of a stylized tribute to comic books than anything. It's also kind of the Russo's style

Anonymous

I will also say I believe that ‘SPACE’ was meant more of a joke/dig at the title cards anyway.

Joseph C Gdaniec

Yeah I really gotta say, the whole big text thing is not bc they assume the audience is dumb. There are way too many subtle moments for that to be true. It is specifically that way because it's how changing location is done in comics, especially collab/team comics like the Avengers and its just trying to translate a part of the comic book culture to screen

Joseph C Gdaniec

I also think it makes sense why Tony wanted to take the fight to Thanos. He basically said, the only thing they had going for them was potentially the element of surprise so by taking the fight to Thanos they could potentially surprise him and keep the destruction on Earth out of the equation.

Three hundred forty seven comments, this really is the big one part one. Ok, so. Here we are. Infinity War. The big boy. Lots to write here. The movie was based off of the "Infinity Gauntlet" event. It's a mixture of that, Thanos Quest, and a lot of new stuff. In the original story, Thanos is, well to put it rudely, a total Simp for Death. He loves Death, who is a person, a woman. Sometimes just a skeleton, sometimes beautiful. But Thanos loves her. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s4H7jWWSleo Here's a fun video! Avengers Family Feud. The location text isn't there because they think the audience is stupid. Its just a visual based on the comics. Also yes this would go better if everyone was working together but that's the point of the movie. The Russo's state this in the commentary track. Tony would rather go to another planet than talk to Steve. Its unfortunate but thats just human nature. After you fight with friends you might want to avoid them to. The Russo's said the whole point of Civil War was to split The Avengers apart and make it that much harder to deal with Thanos.
