Hi guys!

Here's my reaction to Iron Man 2! It is a second time reaction again (I promise the next videos coming up will be first time reacts!) Regardless, I still enjoyed watching this again and I hope you enjoy this too. As always, let me know your thoughts in the comments below.

You were correct. That was not Larry King. It was Stan Lee, the creator of all these characters in the comics, and he has a cameo in every MCU movie. He was mistaken for Hugh Hefner in Iron Man, and he played the man who drank the soda that had Banner's blood in it in The Incredible Hulk.

As a fan of Sam Rockwell you should watch Moon. He's pretty much the only person in the movie. One of his best.

If you want to see Agent Coulson in action, before you watch Thor you should watch the Marvel One Shot (like a 5 minute movie) called Something Happened on the Way to Thor's Hammer. Great Agent Coulson moment.

Even though you had to re-watch and react to it, still a fun reaction and glad you saw some parts you missed before. People say this is one of the lesser MCU movies but I still really enjoy it and don't know why people aren't as big of fans. The Stark Expo and Howard Stark scenes are quite reminiscent of old Walt Disney at the 1964 World's Fair clips and also showing off EPCOT (The city plan, not the theme park) and interesting as I think this was made before Disney bought Marvel.

The guy on the stairwell at the beginning that you were Googling to see who it was - was Stan Lee. He has a cameo in all the MCU movies. I thought it was funny that all of the weapons Hammer put on the suit weren't made by Hammer Industries. He just resold stuff from other manufacturers, except for the 1 thing of his own design, that didn't work.

Fun little fact: Sam Rockwell is actually married to actress Leslie Bibb, the actress who played the Vanity Fair reporter Christine Everhart in these first two Iron Man films. So it was fun to see the interaction between their two characters in this film.

Well, this was a delight to watch with you! Couple of things. Larry King was the Stan Lee cameo for this movie. Yes, that was Cap’s shield. Yes, the Hulk Easter Egg was the news footage playing on the top right screen. Glad you liked that kid moment with Tony. Why? No reason. 😁 Oh, in a non-communicated moment, can I just say I truly enjoyed watching your eyes narrow when Bill O’Reily popped up? Me too, Natalie. Me too. Congratulations, you pronounced the name of the hammer right. Can’t wait for Thor or Cap. As for Iron Man 2, this is a serious world builder movie, especially in the third act. For a Marvel nut with a long memory like me, it’s great. But not better than the first, IMHO. But very glad you enjoyed it and it took your mind off things for a while. Which is entirely the point. As for non-scary Halloween fare, Nightmare is great, Ghostbusters will do well. I’d also suggest Monster Squad as that’s a lot of fun. I’m sure others will recommend as well and it will keep you from too many sleepless nights. If it makes you feel better, I’m 43 and I only saw some of the movies you are talking about for the first time last year as I got frightened easily too. No shame at all. Thanks again! Can’t wait for the next movie, but I think that... is another story. 😁

I am glad you liked Iron Man 2, though I am not a huge fan of the movie. It had been years since I last watched it, and it aged well enough. But it was merely serviceable when it first came out. Though the first movie set an impossible bar to cross. But you are coming up on where the movies really started to pop for me, The First Avenger. Just gotta work through Thor haha. And I am really looking forward to watching The Winter Soldier with you, as that remains my favorite movie in the series to this day.

I was also going to recommend Monster Squad! A really fun take on the classic Universal monsters with kids trying to stop them from taking over the world. I’ll also reiterate that a good October pick is Shaun of the Dead. If you haven’t seen that, it will give both some scares but a lot of laughs too. With that said, my favorite Halloween movie is Donnie Darko so that’ll be the last of my two cents for October recommendations.

First, your frizzy hair is super cute, don't worry about it. Hope your A/C got fixed though. I support the suggestion of watching the Coulson short A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to Thor's Hammer. Maybe a quick reaction video like you did for the Mandalorian season 2 trailer. Why don't these villains care about all the innocent bystanders? It's almost as if they’re the bad guys. Let’s get into some Halloween recommendations. I’m not a huge fan of slasher and gore films myself, so these will tend to be light on that. Family friendly: Hocus Pocus, Fun Size, Transylvania 6-5000, Casper, Young Frankenstein Probably, mostly not nightmare inducing (no guarantees): The Crow, Rocky Horror Picture Show, Sleepy Hollow, Practical Magic, The Witches of Eastwick, The Craft, Army of Darkness, The Lost Boys, Donnie Darko, Tucker & Dale vs. Evil Potential for nightmares: An American Werewolf in London, Scream Thanks for doing what you’re doing.

I really appreciate that you took the time to re-record your reaction in the sweltering heat with no A/C. I for one probably wouldn't have had the patience for it. Seeing how anxious you got from watching Tony's house and possessions getting trashed in these first two films, I can guarantee that your gonna really, really hate IRON MAN 3. But just remember that Tony is stupid rich, and he said it himself that he's not sentimental about things. As for October's potential lineup I'd like to submit these movies: John Carpenter's The Thing Sinister Event Horizon The Mist Silent Hill It Follows The Ring (2002) The Witch (2016) The Strangers (starring Liv Tyler) "The Evil Dead" trilogy (the 1st one is pure horror, the 2nd one is a 50/50 mix of humor & horror, and the 3rd movie "Army of Darkness" is a straight-up comedy. Speaking of which, here are some less intense titles that are horror/comedies or satires that I think you'd really enjoy. Tremors Shaun of the Dead Tucker & Dale vs. Evil Drag Me to Hell Slither Cabin in the Woods and if you're as much of a fan of Sam Rockwell as I am, you might want to check out the 2015 remake of "Poltergeist", its not too scary, and Rockwell plays a really awesome Dad in it. I can't wait to see your reaction to the first THOR movie. It's my 2nd favorite movie in the entire MCU right behind the first IRON MAN. I think you're really gonna to dig it.

So I don't know if this will be a popular suggestion so I will leave this up to the collective group here to discuss but I feel like it would be better for you to Captain Marvel BEFORE you watch Infinity War even though it didn't actually release until after End Game. My thinking is this: there were many people who developed a negative opinion of either or both the character and/or the actor playing Captain Marvel, and it is my opinion (and I'm not alone) that this is largely due to two factors. One, the capacity in which the character was used in relation to the other characters in End Game who we had all grown to love (for the little bit of screen time she got). And two, the fact that neither the writers OR the actress, Bri Larson herself, really had a clear picture of who the character actual was or what her origin film was going to be about exactly. This, of course, was due to Disney's extreme secrecy. There just wasn't any material to build on and I feel that is in large part why so many people tended to feel that her character came across as a bit flat. I truly love the character myself and I would hate for End Game to be your introduction to her. Anyone is free to disagree, obviously. It's just a suggestion that I hope you'll take into consideration when the time comes.

Not sure if you've got your horror watchlist set for October, but these are just a few recommendations. I enjoy horror and horror-esque movies, but I'm not big into the blood, guts, and gore. I'm more into the atmospheric aspect. So here are my picks(obviuously there's a chance you've seen some of these): Monster Squad(great blend of horror, comedy, and 80's greatness), Scream, Poltergeist, Jeepers Creepers, Fright Night, Shaun of the Dead, Arachnaphobia, The Lost Boys, and Gremlins.

Captain Marvel came out between Infinity War and End Game, at that is the best way of watching it, storywise. I don't want to get into more detail though, as to not spoil it.

Wanted to quickly say, I still enjoyed the reactions for the two 'second watch' shows you've done. When the end of Marvel Phase 3 was due to release at the cinema, my fiancée and I went and re-watched all 20-something films back to back in 20-ish days (as I'm sure many fans did) and that was a very unique experience. I'm excited to watch you go through that journey (hopefully for the 1st time! hah). The next three films complete "Phase One", so hype! Oh also I'm 1st time watching Firefly with you! I never got around to watching it before, and I'm forcing myself to not skip ahead which is pretty difficult because it's so great so far!

So, even before starting with the watching, never-mind post watch comment; an amusing little aside: When this first came out on DVD, I thought I'd ordered Iron Man 2: special edition - I... had ordered Iron Man: 2 disk special edition Which i already had. Always double-check exactly what you've put in your amazon basket.

@natalie, I think there might be a non-labor intensive way to remove the movie sound from your video. Would it be possible for you to post a 30 sec. clip of a bad part of the video where the signal is combined? I would love to take a crack at it. UPDATE: I just created some test assets and had a successful test. Here's how: 1. Capture a clean version of the original soundtrack. 2. Copy your combined ("dirty") audio into Audacity (or your favorite audio program). 3. Copy the clean version of the original soundtrack to Audacity. 4. Align the clean audio track with the first ("dirty") track. (Must be 100% precise and sample perfect.) 5. Then, on the clean audio track, apply Effect->Invert. 6. The new combined track should be a clean audio track with just your voice and no movie/tv sound. Hope that helps!

I do not like horror movies at all. I'm so with you on that! Having said that, there's some dark comedy that I can handle, and you might be like me in that regard. For some October suggestions that I haven't seen from anyone else yet: Zombieland - A post-zombie apocalypse movie about a small group of humans who band together on a road trip through a zombie-filled America. Starring Woody Harrelson, Jesse Eisenberg, and Emma Stone. It's on the gory side, especially at the beginning, but it's hilarious and extremely entertaining. There's a sequel called Zombieland: Double Tap, which is also good, although not as good as the first one. Warm Bodies - A Romeo and Juliet story about a zombie who falls in love with a human. The IMDb description: After a highly unusual zombie saves a still-living girl from an attack, the two form a relationship that sets in motion events that might transform the entire lifeless world. Starring Nicholas Hoult, Teresa Palmer, Rob Corddry, and John Malkovich. It's not very gory at all (maybe a little bit, but it barely registered with me), but it's fun and funny and also sweet. I think you'd like it a lot, so even if you don't watch it in October, I think you should add it to your list. :)

That was fun to rewatch. One thing I'll say, I've already seen this maybe 3 or 4 times, and I actually noticed one or two little bits I'd not noticed before. Like when Tony's going in to see Venko, for a brief moment in the background you see I'm pretty sure the guy who gets put in to 'replace' Venko being processed. Also little moments and comments that kind-of play into even Endgame. Also, is the 'modelling in Tokyo' line about Nat maybe a reference to Lost in Translation? Also; not related to Iron Man 2, but, one good not-too-scary Halloween movie to watch if you've not is Dark Shadows with Johnny Depp Also one that is scary (and if you do, then... sorry in advance for the sleepless nights), Blair Witch Project.

Hey so there's a little spot when Tony and Rhodey fall through the floor at the party Pepper gets scared but Natasha goes into a battle position hinting at her actual identity, I saw that after i watched it another time too. I can't wait to see what the next month has in store for horror, I too am a weenie.

Great reaction despite it being a second viewing! - I highly suggest watching the Marvel short "A funny thing happened on the way to Thors hammer" which is about Agent Coulson and takes place between the scene in IM2 where he leaves Tony and Thor :)

Looking forward to you getting to Thor. Some people think that the first two Thor movies are some of the weaker MCU movies. What saves them for me other than some of the supporting cast, is that when you watch Chris Hemsworth and Tom Hiddleston together they aren't playing their parts like to demigods from Norse mythology. They're playing the characters like they are just two brothers. You'll enjoy it.
