I think this link may be broken? There doesn't seem to be a video, just a thumbnail.

FYI, when Luke slices the AT-AT walker, he then throws in an explosive charge that blows it up.

Light speed is quick, but the movie is edited in a way that makes things seem to happen faster than they logically must when you think about it. Between the probe discovering the base and the fleet arriving, Luke goes through his medical recovery, which presumably takes a couple of days. Later in the film, the Falcon’s journey to Cloud City seems not to take very long, but it clearly takes at least several weeks if not months, because Luke’s training with Yoda spans that whole time, and Han says that it’s “pretty far, but I think we can make it” without using the hyperdrive. My own reading is that Han and Leia have already had an on-again off-again relationship between the first movie and this one, but that’s purely speculation based on their portrayals here (which in turn may have had something to do with the fact that Ford and Fisher had an affair of their own during the filming of the first movie...).

The scene with the Yeti at the beginning was because Mark Hamill was in a serious car accident between the two films and this explained his new facial scars. In the scene where they close the doors of the base on Hoth while Luke and Han are still out, you mention Chewie crying. There's more backstory between Han and Chewie than you see in the movies. Chewie was a slave for the Empire and Han freed him. Chewie swore a life debt to Han. He'd rather die himself than let any harm come to Han.

According to Han, the Falcon can go up to ".5 past light speed" through hyperspace if needed. 😁

Exactly. Luke wasn't trying to save his buddy - he was grabbing that explosive charge from the speeder.

I don't get into a lot of tv dramas because I usually worked an missed out on most over the past few decades. I personally am more into comedies and would like

I was lucky enough to see Empire when it first came out in theaters. We had to get our tickets through Bass/Ticketmaster which was unheard of back then for a movie. The crowd outside the theater was huge. I saw it during the first week of release. I'd read the novelization before seeing the movie so I knew all the spoilers, but it was still an amazing event.

The quote of this whole video is DEFINITELY at 42:50. LOL

A few years ago I went to the secret cinema showing of Empire. Best Star Wars experience I’ve ever had - https://youtu.be/a7bouwv3YME
