Ok, after seeing how upset some of y'all got...let's try this again haha. We'll keep the last NATMARE movie to just these 3 choices and save Blade to watch immediately after NATMARE season.

Now RELAX lol

Steven

What about Talk to Me?

Boomcity

We could always do Blade after Natmare Season. But I'm stoked for you to check out Scream 2 or Ready or Not. If I'm not mistaken, the directors behind Ready or Not started carrying on the Scream franchise. Also some more ideas for future Natmares: You're Next VVITCH Trick 'r Treat (2007) Last Night in Soho

Grigsy

Scream 2 definitely because we watched the 1st ! We gotta watch the second one together

Razor Bikini

Ready or Not… here we come.

Julia Moreira

ready or not, please is the best

Brodie Bazo

I can't blame you for putting Blade on the original list, but it would be nice to see the community pick more movies and shows that you're going to enjoy or be interested in. They always provide better reactions than stuff that you're not going to care about.

Darryl Low

Take 2. Scream 2 ha ha Nat you da best 😊

K.N.

I don't mind that Ready or Not is winning...but the Scream series...so fun...

Ian

The only time I've ever backed the leading pick and you reset it lmao 🤣 too funny 🤣

Diiirk706

OH GOD NO

R.J.Anthony

Please for the love of god dont watch Terrifier, its just a gorefest 😅 not really scary plus you probably will have to censor the entire screen for most of the reaction

Danishprince

That one definitely got heated lol. Now I feel bad

The Hedge Knight

Nat, that's just positive reinforcement for bad behavior.

Christian Fierro

Well now I'm upset you dropped Blade /s

Jacki Goldberg

I’m sure she will add Blade again to another poll after Natmare season .

Danishprince

Read the description. She will be watching Blade right after as it swept the poll :)

My Randomology

As much as I wanted to click on Terrifier... not yet, Natalie. Not yet...

Noctis

So much anger over Blade not being a "true" horror movie, only to then turn around and pick Ready or Not, which is a Dark Comedy action horror 🤣.

Razor Bikini

I mean, it’s a very fun horror movie, but definitely still a horror movie. In the same way Cabin in the Woods is a horror movie, despite being more fun than scary.

Joovain

Really hoped that Scream 2 would win but i guess that is never happening. Would love it if you watch whole Scream franchise, scream franchise has 6 films currently and 7th is on the way.

Alberto Ramirez

One day Trick 'r Treat will be on the polls. One day...

Adam Ramirez

You gotta do the whole scream franchise at some point ;-)

Richard Maurer

Still can’t believe Terrifier is on this poll. That movie is out of Natalie’s league. Worse than Human Centipede, by a long shot.

Noctis

I agree, Blade is in fact a horror movie, just more fun than scary.

NFXx

Was wondering why I had a second email about a poll lol. Also are planning on playing any more horror games? You should check out Silent Hill 2 Remake. Or save it for next year if you don’t plan on anymore the rest of the month.

Mike Hell

I mean I’m still gonna vote for Terrifier just because I think the YT edit would be hilarious… and short lol

Lobos625

Idk why people are upset. I was gonna suggest she could react to the top 2 on the poll since it's the last week and there should be an open slot if she just does one fast and the furious movie again next week

Michael DeBerry

Do yourself a favor and do not watch Terrifier .

DrLAING

Interesting that everyone is voting for Ready or not, I thought it was a pretty bad movie when I saw it. It is a strange list IMO, where is The Shinning? Where is Barbarian or some of the other classic horror films? Maybe Nat already saw them? Who knows

Kelvin

Let’s go Terrifier lol

Daniel

My vote is not Terrifier, this is pure gore-genre horror and that is so not the vibe.

jamie jones

Well you got off really easy this natmare season with no actually scary movies being done. Annoying that fast and furious took up so many spots and we get less horror this October.

Rog

Where the Steven king movies? Any of them are better than this list. 1408 is very underrated.( cujo, pet sematary ,Christine, misery…) oh well maybe next year.

El

If Ready or Not is on the list, must mean a lot of people did like it 🙃 It’s a lot of fun and very murder-y and there’s a high chance Natalie will love it

El

People have been suggesting Terrifier to literally all of the creators I watch that aren’t big fans of horror 🫠 It’s such a waste of time and votes, I don’t understand how these folk can’t read the room lol

My Randomology

Don't think we won't vote for something to make your soul jump out of your mouth. It's just that Terrifier is.... another level of horror I don't think you're ready to explore...

Danishprince

We've gotten Saw, Longlegs, hat we do in the Shadows and seems like Ready or Not. 4 movies for Natmares as always. F&F didn't take up any spots from Natmares

Louie

Ooooi dont think you would like The Terrifier lol. Ready or Not or Scream 2 would definitely be more enjoyable for ya lol.

jamie jones

If they werent done, other movies could have taken their place so yeah, they did. Also last year we got halloween, scream, friday the 13th, the conjuring, train to busan and evil dead. Thats more than 4 movies.

Mastervodo

My goodness! Such strong feelings over Blade and/or scary movies! Thank you Natalie, for doing what you can to make your viewers happy! I'm sure everyone appreciates it.

Opti_Frog

Eh, Blade is horror-esque, wouldn't have minded. But Ready or Not is fun too. 😊 I don't understand the love for Terrifier. I love horror, but that "movie" is just bad on almost every level. You want gore? Watch Braindead / Dead Alive.

Danishprince

If they weren't done they would have been taken up by the show episodes as usual.

Opti_Frog

The first Terrifier barely qualifies as a movie. It's kind of like Flowers of Flesh and Blood.

Opti_Frog

Human Centipede is a perfectly ok mad scientist movie. Terrifier is a VFX showcase.

R.J.Anthony

Agreed about more Steven King but a lot of them really fall under more Thriller than Horror and dont have a very Halloween feel despite being scary, but they all need to be reacted to at some point.

Hades

Nat, I am confident when I say this: you can not handle terrifier. I think it would be the first movie you back out of and I don’t think you’d find it an enjoyable experience.

Rey

Aw blades so fun tho, hopefully yo u have fun with whatever wins

Rey

Barbarian was a fun one hopefully that makes a cut next year

Rog

Yeah maybe but I doubt she’ll watch any of them outside of this time of year .And I think there all horror movies except for maybe misery.

Daniel McGuinness

See where some healthy debate gets you? 😅 I appreciate it x Terrifier still sucks tho, it’s barely a movie. More torture-porn than Saw ever was, and I just don’t see Art’s appeal tbh. I understand why it’s got such a big following tho.. kinda

Austin

Agreed. its torture porn. Nothing redeeming about it.

Rod Reavern

At least we know that Natalie reads our comments. And now that Blade is out, this poll is more representative and Terrifier is in last place, where it belongs. (I actually like the Terrifier franchise but it's not a movie Natalie will enjoy.) It's just a shame that Trick 'r Treat (2007) didn't at least make it on a Natmare poll. Natalie and most of her Patreon members don't know what they're missing by not watching Trick 'r Treat. It's been a staple of my Halloween movie marathons for 15 years! 🎃🎃🎃

Daniel McGuinness

It’s just spectacle tbh. Everything she hated about Scream and Halloween - boring characters, weak plot, gratuitous violence (meh) - stretched into an 80 minute movie. I get why horror fans like it, but you watch it FOR the gore, Nat would rightfully hate it lol

Cory Silver

So as crazy as it sounds, I think it would probably be best to start with Terrifier 2. There's nothing really from the first one that you NEED to know for the second. While Terrifier 2 does have some extreme scenes, there's also a lot of humor, and an astonishingly likable protagonist, which the first movie lacks. Then you could either continue on to the third movie, or backtrack and catch up on the first. From a fan of the franchise, the "appeal" of Art the clown is in his next level physical acting. Since he doesn't talk, he has to communicate with his face and body. Even though he's horrible, he has a TON of charisma, and is always fun to watch. You always want to see what he'll do next, even when you know it will be horrible. I don't want to spoil any more than I already have, but, I worry if you start with the first one, you won't want to continue with the franchise, which would be a shame because Terrifier 2 does so many cool things. I would say though, to prepare. If you need to bring in a friend to watch it with you, I don't think anyone would complain. But, I guess we have a year to figure that all out right?

Rey

Nah you speaking facts, its just gore porn with barely a plot

Yani Dodge

Dang! I'm scared to look in the comments for the last poll now! 😂 Since I've been skipping the natmare movies (cause I can't do horror) I'll just let everyone else fight it out for this one :P

José R. Colón

I still maintain you have to watch Student Bodies, the original Scary Movie. I'll sit down now 🤣🤣🤣

Kraackin

non of these are scary what a waste of a season. No insidious type movies or anything

El

jamie, this season we have had: longlegs, saw, what we do in the shadows, the descent (winner of last week's poll), and looks like ready or not is winning this week. a movie less than last year, sure, but we're also getting blade post-october. natalie wants to make an epic f&f video for youtube, let her have fun as a creator. you sound entitled.

Oliver

The terrifier 1 was the only horror movie I’ve actually shut off and never finished (you know the scene I turned it off), so I never saw the terrifier 2. If she watches it here I’m probably doing the same thing, but I think somebody should warn her about the gore, if it’s better in the second then def start with that lol. The first one was seriously disgusting I got nauseous, and I’ve watched a good amount of horror and never had an issue

Oliver

Yes exactly. That is not a horror movie, it got a lot of attention for being a straight up gore/torture porn movie with the most disgusting scenes (that one in particular, everyone who’s seen it has it scarred into their brains) I’ve ever seen on a streaming service

jamie jones

I can have an opinion. Reacting to a bunch of shit movies that never won a poll and take up two slots a week is lame sauce. If that offends you i really dont care. You’re the one going around telling everyone what movies nat would and wouldnt like and putting down peoples requests that you dont approve of. Thats entitlement.

asha

yeah… i don’t think you’ll be able to even sit thru terrifier so it’s prob good it’s last rn

David Sumner

I thought Scream 2 won a previous poll?

Redrum Ritual

Terrifier a real horror movie. What the fuck is Ready or Not?

Skellyp

Can’t wait for AoT to be on a pole one day!

Boomcity

Just skimmed through the Terrifier franchise on kill count. Looks boring and cheap. Like they're saying "Hey guys, remember torture porn?! That was cool, right?"

Cory Silver

Well, at the risk of throwing out a huge spoiler, I will say that the person that "wins" in the first movie, is not the same person that "wins" at the end of the second movie. A great way of thinking about how Art the Clown works, is to think about how Clowns are supposed to work. So, with a normal standard Clown, they "hurt" themselves to make others laugh. Think about Goofy trying to paint a fence. He trips over the ladder and falls face first into the paint bucket. Or if he's fishing, he'll get the hook stuck in his pants and somersault himself into the lake. He gets "hurt" to make us laugh. With Art though, he hurts others to make himself laugh. That's pretty much the only reason he kills. Now in the second movie, he has a "guide" leading him to the people he should go after for an actual reason. In the first one he just kind of sees two women and goes after them. It's totally random. But in the second movie, again, spoilers. He's targeting the support group of the one person who can stop him. And for that one person, he can ONLY kill them in one specific spot, nowhere else. There's actually a point where he WOULD have the chance to kill her, but he can't hurt her anywhere else, so he gets really frustrated. The movie is deeper than just gore. And the second movie has an incredibly satisfying ending.

Cory Silver

Ok one more comment, this time about the winner. I'm very happy Ready or Not won out in the end. Enough has been said about Terrifier, so I won't touch on that. I remember when "Blade 2" came out it was friggin huge, at least among the kids my age. And then Blade Trinity uh, existed. I'm confident the Scream franchise will continue to be worked through. So as for Ready or Not. It's a wonderful movie, I've seen three or four times. The atmosphere, the lead actress, the supporting cast, the premise, the location. It all blends together great. I have no doubt you'll love it. If you like the movie, a similar kind of experience would be "The Hunt" from 2020. I won't spoil it, but it's good fun with another great lead. Samara Weaving is wonderful. She was great in both "The Babysitter" movies. (From 2017 and 2020) Lastly, a movie called "Mayhem" which is about an office going nutzo. But it's also a comedy horror. All the movies I've suggested are very funny. Mayhem and The Hunt are definitely "anytime" movies. The Babysitter movies are a bit more standard horror themed, but also don't have to be locked to Halloween since they're basically comedy movies that spoof horror.

Peter Yocum

The Hunt was in 2020? Jesus what happened to all the years inbetween

Josh R

Yeah Natalie I just don't see you enjoying Terrifer. Its mediocre film making/ editing with over the top gore. Theres nothing of note thats good about it other than the practical effects and the performance of the clown. If you want something gory and gross then sure but the other two options are way more interesting

Josh R

It has less filmmaking promise than the hostel films so it somehow goes even worse than just torture porn

TheWebShark

I'm new here. Just sharing my appreciation for Natmares season. The fact that she does this while not being a horror fan is a really cool. Knowing that, it's fair to assume that she won't appreciate or enjoy most if any of the really intense scary gory horror films. So I'm happy Ready or Not won the poll. I think she'll have a better time with that over terrifier. Being new here I dont know if Nat has watched these or not, but I think they are good with just enough horror for someone like Nat.... Babadook (2014) I See You (2019) The Ritual (2017)

Jabari Weathers

Glad ready or not is getting seen, but Nat I honestly think given your positive reaction to the original scream you should watch the rest. The 5th n 6th films are by radio silence, ready or notes directors! If you dig RoN then it's all the more reason to peep the rest tbh

Jabari Weathers

But it's not really scary as much as it's just gross. I think she's watched films that are far scarier.
