another rare late-night "it's still technically the holiday in certain regions of the world" type piece! i originally wasn't going to do anything for valentines at all this year given i took note of the date on relatively short notice, but i gave it some brainstorming, which at one point included the idea for a voidsuit-cupid type design, and decided to skip ahead to the likely output of that particular idea :D 

some of the earlier versions of this had some more harsh two-tone shading that i've included here. i've mentioned before but i generally think my art tends to work best with straight flats with occasional shading highlights. here i felt that the shading on maples' top gave the impression of seeing more of her chest then intended, so i figured simplying things would make it more readable.
