Here's an update on our upcoming schedule! As well as some other news.
As you might have noticed, Battles of Saratoga video has not come out yet.
Our initial plan, to release 4 videos in 4 weeks, starting with Turkey v Saudi video on November 30th, proved to be too demanding. We're still not quite there, to be able to produce so many videos.
Another reason was the Taiwan invaded video, which proved to be more complex than initially thought. We're basically sitting on 20 minutes of material, and thus we decided to split it in two videos.
So, in the overall scheme of things, we decided it's better we postponed the Saratoga videos and concentrate on Taiwan, as we do believe Taiwan is something our community is eager to see. Whereas our historical battle videos are still niche videos.
Anyway. Taiwan part 1, the balance of power in the air and on the seas, will come out on December 21st. And part 2, the actual Chinese landings on the main island, should come out a week later. Battles of Saratoga video will then come out on 4th of January.
We really hope you'll enjoy the Taiwan videos as we poured in basically 3 times the hours into that one, analyzing everything from logistics (Normandy comparisons) to specific Taiwan geography, to distances between various embarkation/disembarkation points and their influnce on the overall conflict.
We're also writing the last poll winner video, "Could USA invade the UK?", to be published sometime in January. Russia invades Ukraine is another topic we're looking into but we're not sure when exactly we'll get around to making that one.
Our release schedule from January onward SHOULD be: 2 Fridays in a row a new video, then the third Friday without a video. That's our new goal, anyway, after we realized 3-4 videos per month is still not attainable. We'll see how that will go. :)
Also, we have a favor to ask. Could you tell us what you dislike about our Patreon rewards? We must say we get very few comments or messages from Patrons as it is. Communication seems quite limited. So when people decide not to be our patrons anymore, we're left in the dark as it why that happened. What rewards do you like? What rewards of our you don't care about? Please comment about it below this post.
Partly because of the above, soon we will probably be revamping our Patreon rewards and tiers once again. We will probably simplify the system a little bit. But it'd really help us if we could get some feedback on the current system.
We wish you happy holidays!
