Sup everyone? It is me again.

This poll is a bit different. Basically, I am going to open a subscribestar as well as run my patreon. I would be lying if i said I wasnt worried about the recent changes to patreon and how they seem to ban without warning.

I've always been under the impression that most people liked patreon, but i might be wrong. So now I'm just gonna do a poll.

To be clear, nothing changes here as long as I'm unbanned, and prices will be the same on both sites. I'm not trying to move, but with my aiming to make this a full time job, this giant risk is a problem.

So give me your opinion on subscribestar.

I don't currently use SubscribeStar, but I'd follow you there if you ended up going that route.

I say make both since it would be a good backup plan in case something does happen to your Patreon, so in that case you don't have to start from scratch reuploading all your content. For me personally, I prefer using Patreon since they do give the option to follow for free to test out if you like the content or not and choose to donate then unlike Subscribestar where you must pay the subscription no matter what. I use both but like Patreon a bit more but that's just my preference.

This makes the most sense to me as well. What worries me is if your Patreon is just randomly deleted and we're left with no notice of where you've gone. Setting up the SS now makes sense so that we get uninterrupted flow of content as well as a safe backup for your business. This isn't the first service to randomly delete accounts and when the creators go missing, you'll miss out on those accounts as they try to find you on another service. Now that you've indicated a willingness to go to SS, I know that if your account here on Patreon disappears, I can most likely find you on SS. So good to pre-empt any shenanigans on Patreon's part.
