The fall out from the wreck means I've basically had zero time to write. Yay? (No, not yay.) It didn't help that the kids had Friday off, and this week Smalls only has half days for parent teacher conferences. Bonus? I'm on the second day of a nasty headache. Today, at least, is better--I'm not getting dizzy, and I'm less sound and noise sensitive.

Other things not helping--my mom is gone, my husband is back at work, and Bigs is house sitting, so trying to write this weekend was excruciating. I had a 500 word post for Penguin Teen due Sunday and it took me hours to write. It should not have taken me hours.

But it's done and it's up! I wrote about the time my aunt lived in a haunted house. The cool thing about it was the house was associated (I'm still not sure how) with the Watseka Wonder. The Watseka Wonder was a possession case that took place in the late 1800's and involved a young woman named Lurancy Vennum. Isn't that a cool name? With that name and what honestly sounds like the best case scenario for a possession, the story kind of reads like a YA novel. If you're into it, I suggest googling the Watseka Wonder. For my aunt's story, check out Penguin Teen!

Happy Spooky time! Hopefully I'll get something written tomorrow. *sighs*
