Lena Story Chapter 10 (Patreon)

So first, I didn't take this picture--but apparently sometimes the Big Blue Bug in RI gets decorated? Also, look, I wrote words! Not a lot of them, but after two weeks of nothing, I'll take it!

Big thanks to all the people who filled me in on RI life. I want to go there now. Well, not now. You know, when people are less contagious in general and I don't live in a pandemic hot spot. 

My mom is still in the hospital (for unrelated medical stuff), and we're not allowed to visit her, but we're FaceTiming her every day. In the mean time, I'm in charge of her needy chihuahua mix, Peanut. I love Peanut, but Peanut likes to prance around and nip at your feet when she things it's meal time. She thinks it's food time at least seven times a day, minimum. (It's not, Peanut. We're not going to let you eat that much, you glutton.)

I'm glad the rest of my family is home and safe and well, but I really miss being able to leave and write because I have no office and if my five year old interrupts me one my time, I might lose my mind.

Just six more weeks to go.
