Lena Story Chapter 1 (Patreon)

So...I don't have a title yet. I'll try to think of one as I get a little further in, but for now, it's just going to be filed under "Lena story." Titles are hard, y'all.

Things you need to know going on, or at least will find helpful--Hel is not a typo. It's the general term used for underworld in Norse mythology. Yes, it's similar to the Christian Hell in name as both were derived from the same word (I believe). 

You have hopefully read about Lena and Steve before. If not, there is a short story on Tor.com with some really cool art called Heads Will Roll. It's free to read on the website, or I think 99 cents to download. (You also briefly get to meet Ed of HMC,N fame in that short story.) There are also three different stories on here about Jonah, Lena's apprentice. I believe there are Make My Heart an Arrow, Make My Will a Bow...and...Oh, Winter Interlude. Which I am now just realizing I never wrote a second part too. Super professional over here. Yikes. I'll fix that soon-ish.

This story will be mostly following Steve and Lena and Grant (from the Jonah stories) and some new characters. Since this is Lena, expect some violence. Probably some cursing. Definitely some Star Trek references. (I've never really watched much of Star Trek beyond the movies. Why do I give my characters hobbies and interests I know nothing about? Why couldn't I make her watch Red Dwarf?) I hope you like it. 

Also, I'm open to title suggestions. Again, they're HARD.
