Fantastic episode and great reaction again! Like you, I love the complexities written within the story for each character to navigate and the parallels between the characters and plots. I think Luci is struggling to understand what he wants and what he wants to be. I feel Eve is a perfect foil for the writers to explore this. Linda, as always hits the nail on the head so to say, as she recognises the dilemma in which Luci finds himself. being pulled in two directions by two women. Eve pulling him back to the dark side and Chloe pulling him towards 'being a better man'. Can he find a happy medium between these parts of his life. The question is why does Eve want him to embrace his darkness and power and where could this lead? I think, both Luci and Maze continue to struggle with understanding who they really are. They carry so much baggage from their past and here on earth both find emotions are difficult to cope with. Now, we see Luci has taken the law into his own hands (or feet, in this instance!) so what will be the repercussions of that? You are right about this season, it just gets better and better. I loved how there was so much laughter and fun in the earlier part of this episode... the 'light' side of Lucifer's story and carefully placed and suggestive fruit, but by the end the writers had tumbled us so quickly into a more serious and worryingly 'dark' side. As to Remiel and her story- it was good to see another celestial and realise how much Amenadiel has changed and grown and although so far the story for her hasn't engaged you yet, it might. The next episode has some of my favourite moments between the characters and the ending with Lucifer himself ( there are so many as these writers love their cliff hangery 'endings') but this one really got to me... no spoilers but I shall be very interested indeed to see your reactions to episode 7!
