this show is popular but it definitely not everybody's cup of tea, their style never really changed, so you have to learn to be okay with this lol. b99 is a rare show that some eposide can go so well and some just bored your minds out, the quality not really balanced well, but it just the start of the show, the comedy is gonna get better

Hey! I can relate to how you feel right now about the show. When I first started it, I wasn’t the biggest fan of a Jake or Any either. I found him a bit too over the top and loud, and her a bit too annoying. Now, I like both of these characters. They both sort of mellow out a bit and become more nuanced. I also wasn’t crazy about Charles or Gina. One of them grew on me and one didn’t. If you like Terry now, you’ll probably always like him, and I’d say the same for Captain Holt. Without giving spoilers, I’ll just end by saying most of the characters get more depth over time and the actors' chemistry with each other get stronger. But the show will always be a little ridiculous.
