Poor Lucifer,as he has so many conflicted feelings and so many of them come from his feeling of being manipulated by his father- and Amenadiel always trying to please his father... I wonder what their father really wants at all. Maze is spiralling because of her perceived betrayal by Linda. I think, like you many Lucifans were becoming annoyed at Maze at this point. I suppose Linda was the only human friend that Maze felt some real true connection with so her betrayal goes deep, at least that is what I thought but the writers have their reasons for pushing these plot lines as you will see as the end of the season plays out. I think I can see both sides of the situation with Linda but I think Maze is never going to react like a human would as she has such limited knowledge and understanding of emotions and friendships. I expected it to get worse but like you hoped they could resolve their friendship because I liked that aspect so much. Now it seems Cain has decided to pursue Chloe but why? Has he decided to give up on wanting to die? Does he really care for Chloe? What will Lucifer do now? What will Maze do now? So many questions. I always felt after this episode with that rather poignant ending of Luci almost in tears in Linda's office that it was at this point that this season really kicked back into the main story and those questions about Cain, Luci, Chloe, Maze, Amenadiel and Linda started to be answered. It's quite a ride. Thank you for your fun reactions. I do enjoy your thoughts and ideas very much.
